    Cave In

This is possible as far as I can get this map. The playable area is finished but I've hit the object limit. I've used what I have left to make the map as playable as possible but its not perfect.

If I had more objects I'd fill in those 2 large holes, either by building up a wall (like I've started) or by making the map more open and adding to the floor. But, I've had to make do with 2 kill balls on the floor which people will either fall in to or willingly walk in to.

Its a small, symmetrical map with 2 bases. Its sort of like a small Standoff or Beaver Creek. Its playable, but not as finished as I'd like it to be. :(

Download what I've done so far. I'll see if I can rework some parts of the map to get it finished (then I'll properly submit it).

woah this looks really amazing. As for the object limit, well thats a shame BUT if you go over your map and delete/change any unnecessary objects then you might be able to slowly accumulate some more objects. The central area is very open which will make i almost impossible to take objectives across (flag bomb). It does need more cover there.
Th map though looks just stunning. I love the natural terrain and the two bases either side. Great work, hope you can finish it.

Wow i just utterly failed attempting to switch to advanced poast... Now i have to start all over.... Anyways, starting over again first inpressions are verry good. I like the location, what appear to be tunnels, base interiors, middle rocks, and the natural geometry. However, I should allert you that Elliot already made a map named cave in. You hit the object limit, but don't fret here are some sollutions:

    1) Move the spartan lazer spawn. Take it off the wall that way you only have to add one more layer of walls, not two. Have the next layer slightly jutting out (matching how far the obelisks jut out by the tunnels) to stop partner/grenade jumpers. This would probably still requier quite a few items...

    3) If you absoutly have nothing left, atleast add a structure that appears to support your map. As in don't just leave it floating high in the crypt. Here are a coupple of pictures I found while searching around.... that demonstrate something that you might be able to do

Also i cant find the last and most inportant pitcure i had..... Basicly it had a mancannon in it and you could use something like that to get players back into the map rather than killing them.....

    3) You know both of your big holes? Instead of despertly trying to wall them off, make it look like the 2 holes were ment to be there and that they fell out. Maby scatter debris around the bottom where they would land and scatter teleporters to get back up. You also could potentioly get rid of the wall you started, thus freeing even more objects.

    4) Lastly, I know you are at the object limit, so here are some things you could delete:

1st picture: With your boulders, sink the block large further into your basin thing and delete the two smaller objects on either side.

2nd Picture: Unless the far top block large is also being used as roofing, delete that.

3rd picture: Delete the thing the lazer is resting on.

4th picture: Move the collum large through the roof so someone on the roof could use the collum as cover instead of the nearby barricade.

5th picture: From looking at the last picture it does not appear that the ramp, large HAS to be there.

Last picture: Delete the two single objects your using as the ramp and replace it with a doubble object.

I hope at least something here helpped... I really want to see this as best as it can be when it comes out. YOU CAN DOOOO IT!!!!!

Go ahead. The version on my fileshare has about 2 objects left and I'd need atleast 30 to complete the 2 walls.

    DUDE! - initial reaction.

Anyway, I'm thinking of deleting objects you DON'T need. Seriously, man. As long as the holes arent really noticeable, then you're fine.

Well I started this map as a submission for Atlas and one of the rules is there must be no way for players to escape the map, accidentally or intentionally. Having them so they're just not noticable isn't good enough for Matchmaking standards.
