At the risk of getting somewhat repetitive (this is the second fractal I am posting in a matter of days), I present: "Elaborate Spire" I designed this fractal in Apophysis 2.08 (with 3D Hack). The original design was based on a tutorial (I can't find the link to the original tutorial, unfortunately...), but I extensively modified it -- the only similarity at this point is the location of the Triangles-- and did quite a bit of post-editing in Photoshop 7.0. It took 4.5 hours to render at 4096x2458 px, a 64-bit Integer setting, and 8000 quality. The original DA link is Elaborate Spire by ~JoeBob1099 on deviantART
I really love all of these fractals. A can't believe no one has posted here. The image is very nice, I feel like I'm floating in cyberspace when I look at it. I would love to see more of your work, these fractals are my screensavor right now.
