Hey, what's going on. This is my first serious map, First Blood V2.

I have no idea what drove me to make this map, or what inspired me for the layout, but I and my friends love to play on it.

    INFORMATION:
This map is comprised of two bases, one larger than the other, with two smaller bases off to the side and two arch-type structures in the middle. The weapon setup is mostly symmetrical, while the geometry itself is almost symmetrical (pics below). This map is set up for all gametypes, some games may not play well, though.

    ***EDIT***
By the way, this map was made a long time ago, BEFORE GHOST MERGING WAS DISCOVERED. I have recently updated it, hence the "V2," but still the only parts that I ghost merged were the fence boxes near the shotgun spawn and the stairs above the Red Base windows. anything else geomerged or interlocked was done with the old methods.

    WEAPON LIST:
    Battle Rifle - 7x
    Assault Rifle - 2x
    Sniper Rifle - 1x
    Shotgun - 1x
    SMG - 4x
    Brute Shot - 2x
    Pistol - 2x
    Carbine - 2x
    Machine Gun Turret - 2x
    Plasma Pistol - 2x
    Plasma Rifle 2x
    Trip Mine - 1x
    Flare - 1x

I'm not sure how many grenades are on the map...

    Anyways, pics!

Give it a DL and and let me know what you think. I have played countless games with my friends on it.

why did you give him a 4/5 if you liked everything about his map?

Anyways, the map is a bit open, and since there are no vehicles, the map could have more obstacles. As far as the bases go though, they are pretty cool, again good map, but a bit too open

I guess I should post more pics, then, because I have actually had constant complaints that it is kind of cramped... If you play a few games on it you will understand... Actually, if it's cramped and you think it's open, it should be perfect if you play on it! lol Just kidding, but seriously, vehicles WILL NOT work on this map.

I have to agree that judging from the pics, it might be a little more open than you think. What gametypes do you play on it because if you play more than 4v4, it will seem cramped. But I definitely really like the structures you incorporated into the map, and everything looks good. The only thing that I'm questioning is those turrets. Maybe I'm wrong but won't those get way to overpowering in such a small map? I don't know but maybe they work because I haven't played on the map yet.

I usually only enjoy MLG maps and I usually only find innovation in a few designs, but this maps has some really good designs in it. The bases, are perhaps the most noteworthy part of the map. I really dig the design a lot. Props on that. Other than that, this map could use a few minor tweaks with cover. The bases received a lot of attention, but the other structures seem like a late addition. A third update with a few architectural design adjustments could really amp this maps playability to a whole new level. Other than that, great job.
