Drag Racing I made this a long time ago, and through much playing and testing, realized that it was an instant favorite to anyone who played it. Its simple, and a blast, no matter who your playing with. Here are some photos: Ready, Go!.... .... and end with a bang! Watch from the bleachers! (all players not in the race go here.) After 20sec, the light turns green and a ramp spawns. Make sure not to get too close to the ramp when it spawns, or you'll wheelie! Enjoy! The pictures are a bit too small. Try using PhotoShop.com for better, bigger pics. From what I can see, this has been done many times before. The race itself will all depend on reactions alone, because there is no way of making your warthog faster, everyone will just go full speed the whole way, so it all depends from reactions at the beginning.
I think it has been done before, but I enjoy these for a fun time with friends. I just downloaded it. I will play it later today and come back with a review for you.
The forging looks really nice, but maybe you should add a little to the game. Maybe if you starting going to early then there would be consequences like get pushed back and lose time. It seems like the way you have it set up now, that it's all luck in which racer wins.
Yeah I can see adding more stuff as a possibility. But isn't reaction times,and i guess moding your car,what drag racings all about? Theres also the wheelie factor, it makes you get a bad jump on the gate if your too close. But anyway thanks for the input. And idk why the pics are so small I used the high-res and photobucket and everything
Nice work man. I made a few drag racing maps in the past. I never published any of them becasue I could never make it totally fair. I tried two drag tracks with mongooses. I never tried them with warthogs. That's sounds really fun. I will DL and have to try this. FYI when you upload pics to photobucket.com, there is an option that you can click right before you upload them. It will give you several options of sizes you can choose from. I think I usually pick the 17" monitor one. There are several you can choose. You might just be uploading them in the default size. Take a look next time you upload some pics. Nice forging and the aesthetics look great. I like the go lights and the stands for players not racing looks sweet. Good job!
