this is my first forge map i love forging though i would like some feed back and i hope u all like my map. My map is on foundry with separate zombie spawn wide weapon layout and oversheild and invisibility. the game type is a classic infection. zombies move same speed as humans and have the same gravity. now for the screen shots hope they work Links Map Game Type
Pretty nice job for your first map. Did you mean that as your very first map made in forge or your first posted forge map? My first map was on Highground, and my first Foundry map was like, 18 times worse than this one. It could use some touch-ups and tweaking. I would suggest making a V2 when you get better, and learning a few more tricks to help.
hmmm ok first off i just wanna say. Google a semi truck. then look at the box you put on the truck in your map. you may notice the one on your map is different from the semi trucks on Google? make a better semi truck. as far as the map goes. fairly sloppy construction but overall its pretty original. too small and open for really good game play though
I think I may have played this with you a couple of days ago. The map was ok for your first map, but I easily hacked the map during gameplay and got to the big open half. Get enough players that are decent with a BR and it could be impossible for the zombies. If I were you, I'd work on piece placement. A lot of pieces were placed poorly which ended up with a lot of uneven walkways, walls, and roofs. You may want to read some of the tutorials they have here as well to help with some interlocking and merging of pieces.
This is very good for your very first map. Have you ever played it round a friends or anything like that? To improve, look up more complex stuff on YouTube, like Normal Merging or even Ghost Merging. Overall, really good for a complete starter to forge.
Thats really good being one of your first maps. I always made maps that were for screwing around with my friends when I was at that skill level roughly that you're at with forging. I would make wierd maps, cheater maps where I would always win, or zombie maps where zombies couldn't possibly win lol. But you tried to make a fair map and did somewhat decent I think, its hard to tell from the pictures though, I would have to download it. Your pics were fine though, I just can't judge maps good from pictures really lol. Once you learn how to merge, and get used to how to lay stuff out like structures and such, you will probably make good maps I think.
