Guys, I will update this post reguralyy, and add pics, ETC. Started - 16/12/09 End - My idea is to make the classic mario kart battle mode. players will have 3 lives, and can only do damage on the back of a 'goose. The teams will need to be 2v2v2v2 or however many players you are having I will try one map from each of these N64 - Sky scraper GC - Luigis mansion WII - Funkys stadium / block fort. Opinions on WII Map? Also wepon suggestions. This is the longest project i have tryed, anybody with exeptional ideas will be mentioned.
It sounds like another Battle Tracks copy.. How would it be different besides the three life thing? Is it one round? What would be the weapons? Again, why not just use a BT variant and make the lifes set to three. Unless I am missing something, I don't see much of a difference to make a new game type. I can understand wanting to duplicate some classic Mario Kart tracks. I would like to see the maps you come up with. I would probably need more info as to the game settings to really understand what you are trying to acheive. Edit: I can think of maybe an SMG, AR, BR, etc..
It's abit like a battletrack varient now i think about it. Just 3 lives so its like the ballon layout. These maps seem best choice to halo3 i think, but thanks for input.
Variant is spelled with an A. No problem. Again, your work is cut out for you. The game variant is the easy part. Making the tracks look and feel epic, like the old Mario Kart tracks will be your biggest challenge.
Block fort has already been done before, and I really don't know how you could make it any better cos the other guy actually did pretty well remaking it, but it just didn't play well
So i'm not gunna do block fort, or shall i remake it my way? And i'm doing skyscraper first. Hoping this will turn out how i plan.
