i dont get it ? i can only ghost merge teleporter nodes - sender/reciever on any map like guardian but only when its blank, but if its a pre-made map i cant ghost merge the nodes anymore. why? lol i know why i couldnt dummy the node i wasnt host! lol
Well what's the problem? Can you not move the nodes, or can you just not ghost merge them? One problem is that Teleporters are generally "Heavy" objects, and actually weigh more than a crate or something. Try having a radio antennae pushed against the teleporters and then have a wraith boost against the radio antennae, that should knock them off their spawn points - then just pick one up and do the ghost merging thing. Sorry, just re-read your post - I honestly don't know why that wouldn't work.
i can dummy and ghost merge the nodes just fine but i just dont understand why the map needs to be a canvas otherwise it wont work. most people *not that i know of* dont know how to ghost merge an object that does not have a spawn time to be able to set it to "Never" like Sender/Reciever Nodes, when all you do is: 1. Dummy the Sender/Reciever 2. Set the first Sender/Reciever Symmetry to Asymmetrical 3. Grab the second Sender/Rieciver & leave its current symmetry as is & set its run-time minimum to its max.
I believe it has to do with common errors.... First of all, did you dummy the ones on asymmetrical first? Second, Did the dummy work for both. Third, you probably made in error in doing it... Hope this helped.
yessur the way i dummy them is better than the given methods here. my method of dummy the object is: Press up on the d-pad 2 times and (X) along with it, what your trying to do is bring up the forge menu as spartan and select the object and it becomes dummied automaticaly. It takes practice but its worth it, i can get it right 9/10 times.
