Monster Hunter Tri or MH3 as everyone calls it, is the latest installment in the hugely popular Japanese video game series. It is an action adventure game in which you hunt different monsters or as called in game Wyverns as missions from the village or city which you reside at. There are many different types of monsters in this world, most looks like your average dinosaur type with a few different fantasy twists. As you rank up in missions you discover bigger, faster, stronger monsters. After killing these monsters you take their parts and use them as resources to make weapons, armor, items, etc.

Here is the official Trailer for the Wii (Yes these graphics on the Wii)

Here is a video of a size chart that shows how large the monsters are compared to an in game human. The camera actually follows a child which is half the size of a human. Please note, the person walking is a child.

Yes, some are huge, I know. That's when the fun begins. So what do you think about this game? It's for the Wii, the graphics are actually quite good seeing how they're on the Wii, I can go further in depth if anyone has any questions, I'm just trying to promote this game as much as possible.

BTW, that chart video actually takes place in a museum dedicated specifically to the world of Monster Hunter and is located in Japan. This game is HUGE in japan. I mean... huge...

Edit: I forgot, this is released in Japan, but it comes out March 2010 for North America. I'm looking forward to it.

I've never played the game, although I heard a lot about it at one point and it sounded very interesting. I remember them mentioning that there was a lot of teamwork involved in taking down the monsters, but exactly how many people are needed to take down some of the monsters? I'll probably never play it, but I'm always interested in hearing about these sorts of things.

It's actually a 4 player co-op online thing. Uh, depending on if you're a veteran player you should be able to take down most by yourself, if you have the correct equipment, if not then another person is needed. As for the Elder Dragons, you'll need all four people, no cutting corners with these guys.
