I have tons of map ideas storming through my head, some in progress, some not.
Anyways, I'd love it if you reviewed and refined my ideas.

    Map: Sandbox
    Map Name: Coliseum V5
Map Description: A large ring sitting in the Crypt. There is a main floor and a balcony, which has little cover. The balcony has another two stories of blocks so you can't escape. You can gain access to the balcony by jumping on boxes stationed around the ring. In the center is a pillar that reaches up 3 blocks high, with a Kill ball positioned at the top, for aesthetic purposes. Things possibly sticking out of the pillar to make the kill ball look like some sort of generator or something.
Supported Game types:Preferably team slayer, but supports all game types, though not well, such as Infection and Team Flag.
Progress? If so, how much? Yes, little progress. Maybe 20%, done with the basic outside ring and balcony.

    Map:Sandbox
    Map Name:Desert Trek
Map Description: A long, stone wall stretches across the Sandbox desert. It starts at the Skull spawn, and winds up the long way to the large hill on the other side. There are no vehicles that can be used by the Survivors [non-zombies], the only one they see is a downed Hornet. [you'll see why in a bit] It's impossible to climb over the wall [200% Gravity, 1-block high wall], and you must traverse the zombie-infested desert on foot. [Survivor speed 110%, Zombie speed 150%.] At the end is a small temple, which holds a passage into a cave system to continue the story. Make haste though, as along with visual defects at 3 minutes, [gloomy, juicy, colorblind activated], 4 banshees are suddenly available at the Zombie spawn.
    Supported Game types: Infection only
Progress? If so, how much? Some, about 30%. The stone wall is only 10% geomerged so far, but the basic wall has been set up.

Collesium: Sounds like a good idea but from you've said there doesnt seem to be much cover on the groud floor.

Desert Trek: Another nice idea but it sounds like it could very boring quick if you're just walking along a straight bridge. You should add in some choke points where zombies could attack easier such as a collapsed bridge area or a tunnel area.

Well I never said it would be a straight bridge. It's a wall twisting through the desert of Sandbox, and you're stuck on the outside of the wall, closer to the Forerunner towers, not the middle parts. It's going to be plenty risky when you don't have a radar. You're going to have a sniper with limited ammo, and an SMG -then you're out. Zombies have enough health to barely survive a body shot from the sniper though. And then there's the Banshees attacking, but I've tested and you'll get to the safepoint which holds a missile pod before they get there.

I dunno. I actually made great progress last night. I'm about 50% complete with geomerging the wall. I need some ideas for interesting points in the desert when I'm done with the wall. I got about $300 left, I think. All the Blocks [double, huge, large, tall] have been used up, as the Wedge [large, huge] and Ramp [huge].
