Hello there. I'm new to forgehub and this is my first minigame map; GhostBall. Map variant: Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details Game variant: Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details GhostBall is a bit similar to DodgeBall, but this is played in a circular arena and the rules are quite different. Both teams start out with energy swords. At first, you can only die by assassination. But when you die you become a ghost, and you respawn outside the arena (inside the circle around the arena). In this area you can't use your sword (only to kill other ghosts), but you can throw plasma grenades at your enemies. You win the territory inside the arena by killing all of the enemies. One game is 10 rounds, but the time limit is only 1 minute each round. 8-12 players recommended. I have tried the game, so I know that it works, but I haven't been able to try if the game is enjoyable, since I haven't got anyone to play it with. Please ask questions and give me feedback. It looks like a fun mini-game. What's your gamertag? Ill message you and we can test it out together.
It looks cleanly forged and all but it just seems like the gameplay would be repetitive and boring most of the time. I mean unlike the original Bungie dodgeball this is just a small circle for sword battles then trying to stick people in sword battles through a narrow window. I just think you can take this a little further.
So you never actually tested the game?? How do you know it works? What happens when everyone becomes a ghost. How does the round end? I really like the look of the structures, I am just a bit worried about the game variant. I would have to play it with a party to see how it works. This could be fun, I will have to DL and see. I like how the ghosts have poor camo.
Madcow, my gamertag is Garanaw, but I'm sharing the profile with my brother so I'm only online about half of the time that "Garanaw" is online ... Phenomenal, I wouldn't say that DodgeBall is less repetitive than this. In fact, I think DodgeBall is more repetitive. It would probably be boring to play too many times in a row, but DodgeBall is not any different. I'll see if I can add anything else to make it more interesting ... Also, the windows aren't narrow, though you can't reach every spot of the arena from one window. Dream, I have tested the game. I know that it works fine. I just haven't tried to play the game with anyone else than myself to see how fun it is. The 4 guys in the screenshots are all me, playing in local with four controllers connected. And yes, the only problem would be if the 2 last guys kill each other. No one wins the round and they have to wait for the next round, but that shouldn't be any problem since the time limit is only 1 minute, and it wouldn't happen very often.
Oh okay, well my gamertag is madcowninja1 so next time your on just message me so I dont have to worry if its you or you brother.
