I'm going to start working on a map that is somewhat large so I will use an OLN and budget glitched canvas. It will require ghost merging and with ghost merging, it means there will be a lot of random blocks scattered around due to no-clip.

So my question is, before I start on my project, can I delete objects in a budget glitched canvas? I was messing around and found that I can make, and then delete blocks, and still have the block glitched. But then if I make a light, then delete it, it isn't budget glitched. Can someone explain how this works in detail? I remember someone once telling me there is a rule that you can follow to successfully delete budget glitched objects, though I don't really remember it.

For most items it will mess the glitch up but I've had times where it let's me delete an object, it also depends on how the map is glitched.

Don't listen to him. It depends what type of budget glitch you're using.

If it's a regular budget glitch, you'll notice one of each item already spawned. Those are the glitched items, don't touch those.

If it's an ultimate budget, the map will be blank, and still budget glitched. Have fun.

Either way, you can spawn items from the menu and delete them. The only exception is for the regular budget glitch, if you spawn the very last of an item, and delete it. It won't go from 0 to 1. It'll go to 1, but you won't be able to spawn any of the items that you spawned and deleted the last of.

I think I have an ultimate budget glitch, but with OLN objects in it. So, don't spawn the last item and then delete that type of item? That makes sense. Thanks for the reply.

I've had an ultimate budget glitched map that when I deleted an item it didn't let me place anything at all, it was an OLN map and I don't know if it was an OLN item I deleted but it messed the glitch up.

Yeah, for the Ultimate Budget glitch, go ahead, you can spawn all the items, and when you delete one you'll still be able to spawn it back. That won't work for regular budget glitches though.

And the OLN objects: Leave them there. Whatever you do, don't delete them, and don't put that at place at start no. You can ghost merge them, leave 'em there fine. Just don't try and old fashion interlock them or delete them.

You might've been playing with a guest or someone else. Budget glitches mess up and do things like that with two people. You need to be alone when you're forging for best results.

Like Multi said. Just keep the OLN objects to the side at first. At long as there is at least one original item, you can feel free to delete objects that you spawn. A problem will only arise if you delete the last "one" of any object.

Another problem you might have which I have had is when ghost merging on a glitched, stacked map. In order to ghost merge you need to spawn two of whatever object you wish to ghost merge. Now, if you have two items left to spawn of a certain object and you want to ghost merge one then for a short period of time you're going to have to spawn both of them. This will mean that all you have the maximum of that item and that object then becomes unavailable from the item list.

So, on a glitched map, even if you then delete the item which hangs in the air after a ghost merge you will be unable to spawn any more of those items even though they are not all placed on the map. Watch out for this, it can be catastrophic when making a map.
