First to open space ! Second to big for 16 players ! Third do not just put weapon at the base its like cheats !
UPDATE AT LAST Ok, as promised, and I know LONG overdue, but Ive finally made some progress. The overall geometery of the map is finished, just some tidying up and other fiddly bits. Heres some pics of Necropolis, Version 2 Birdseye view of the map As I stated earlier, the map is now more symetrical and includes two bases, red and blue. There are plenty of gravestones placed to provide cover. As you can probably tell, the map is not quite complete yet, although a lot of cleaning up and changes occured since these pictures were taken, but the overall geometery is the same. The main issue Im currently having is with the front of Blue Base. Ive been trying to clean it up, but its becoming a nightmare. Dont bother commenting on aesthetic mistakes as theyve probably been spotted already. Id like to know what you think about the overall layout.
Wow, this update is a big improvment. The turret is great for covering the sides of the bases from incoming vehicles and opposition. The layout for the base is very fresh. I wish that you'd put a few more jumps to get onto the center piece. As of now it would be great RvR. You have to risk duel turret fire to get a power weapon and position of power.
It looks, um not bad but sloppy. Try some geomerging. That would make it better. And 1 spy a problem. The energy sword is next to the shotgun, and the shotgun is next to the bubble shield. Chaos...
Wow Your new map looks like a great Big Team Battle map, I assume you deleted the parts in skybubble and the crypt. The new map would support vehicles will if you extended the "gravestones" into the dunes with more weapons to expand the playable area. I would not worry so much about cleaning up the front of the bases--which you could easily do with ghost merging--but rather deleteing excess items or placing one where you have to to increase cover in the open areas. If you make any more improvements please post the new version in its own thread since the maps are soo dissimilar.
