I am fairly new to this site unlike many of you. Therefore, I have missed out on several Infection maps that were introduced to Forge Hub before I joined. I've searched on this site but it's hard to look for without actual names of the maps.
The reason I am asking this is because I am making an Infection map of my own and I would like to download some former and fantastic Infection maps and gametypes to play and feel the gameplay of these maps. I do not want to steal anything from these maps because I already have my map almost finished but I need help with spawns and weapon placement and I believe these great maps could incredibly help me. It would be really great if you guys could just post the link of the map.

I don't know if you were here for this, but...
Hub of the Dead (Go to submission thread)
Hub of the Dead Contest Winners
Especially the winners. But there were still a lot of good maps submitted in the contest that lost like:
    Help's on the way, right?
    Storm Water
    Silent Caverns
Well just so many that I won't list many because I'm tired.

And mine isn't that bad either (Precipice)

These aren't the most well built infection maps but they follow the same rules and allow for some really intense gameplay. Check them out and you might come up with some good ideas. They all revolve around the base idea of keep moving as a team or you are screwd. Zombies popping up out of nowhere for surprise attacks are also very normal on these maps.

I don't want to be a self-promoting ***** but the winners of the hub the dead contest, or more specifically first and third place (my map) are good fast paced infection maps.

And doing spawns all depends on how you want the humans to feel, I personally make zombie spawn areas everywhere so that the zombies can and will come from anywhere that the humans aren't. If your making a hold out type map keep zombie spawns out of any major lines of sight and out of the hold out area.

For weapons put any of the one hit kill weapons as close to where the zombies spawn without being in that area, make a moderate amount of smgs, assualt rifles, and pistols. Make one or two battle rifles and at most three one hit kill weapons (rocket, sniper, shotgun) and do NOT have multiple of the same one hit kill weapon.

Hope this helps, its what I try to do for all my infection maps, and I hope to be able to see your map soon.

    Look in forgeing 201
Notice the only thread entitled A theory on Infection this should greatly assist you if you read the entire thing.
And really, read the entire thing no matter how long it takes. then read it again. Take notes if you have to. It really helps.

Yeah, it's a good read even for people who don't want to read. And how did I forget. Oh well, here's the link.

personally, I liked Help's on the Way, Right? If Foundry had effect filters to make it darker it would've been perfect.
