Today I started forging on Ghost Town (I took a break from my map Fish and Clips) and blocked off certain areas, added new walkways and new stairs. What I had half produced was a map that had a direction to go. So now I have decided to continue forging on this map. At the moment the central building is completely blocked off and the walkways around the building have been extended. I need a name for this map. It will be a competitive map. If you have any names that fit with the Ghost Town idea PM or say it in your comment. Any suggestions/ideas towards the map would also be greatly appreciated. I will go with the name Undergrowth for this map (thanks Comis). Although this could change when I post the first preview.

A couple kinda relate to the original name but not many. That was the best i could do sorry.

how about an overview done with paint? because i have seen crazy amounts of these types of maps, and this wont be worth doing if one has been done in the same part.
Red = inaccessible areas/blockers Blue = Starting points Yellow = Power weapons The transparent one means its underneath the bridge. I haven't indicated what I will add on to the map.
well thanks. and looks original to me, i thought it was going to be block off everything but the lower half of the pic like most. so yaeah, i aprove. undisputed would be a cool name. for anything really.
Maybe you could name it with a French Name ? Like : Forêt Tropicale = Jungle Forest . I cant wait for picture .
That hasn't been done before, so good job on that. So it's pretty much a big circle? That will play interestingly. I'm glad it isn't like my ghost town map! Haha, I was worried before you gave us the pic... P.s. Where did you get that overview pic? I could definately use that
Thanks for all the positive feedback. I should have preview within the next week. Another thing I forgot to mention was that I want this map to look natural, as if everything I place was already there. It will be clearer when I post the preview (obviously).
Why did you block off the brick wall? If you unblock it, it will give players another slightly different path to take. Also, I think blocking up more of the base would be a good idea because it seems like it wouldn't be used very much. As something else that would be cool, you could make a ramp in that little back alley behind the central building. It would make it smoother, especially if you plan to have vehicles.
Im not to sure what you mean moussemoose, but you have just given me another idea. I am going to see how well vehicles would work with this map. If its too crowded I will take them out. Also I'm taking in any suggestions and ideas right now. @ Ozarka. Go to Bungie.net, click on global heat maps and then just select the map and a weapon that isn't on that map and it will give you a blank heat map.
Well, I'm glad to have given you an idea. But let me explain about the other thing. I think the top left red shape should be removed. If you got rid of it, players wouldn't be forced to go under the little archway around there. Now look at the other side of the map. The players can either go through the low alley, or through the building.
oh right. I left that doorway open yesterday when I was forging, so now there are more routes for players to move around.
