Ah crap. Well, that's bad for me then.
Both retailers in Saskatchewan are a good 40 miles from where I live... And the worst thing about it is... a Small town has a retailer and my city doesn't.

Another question, with the Gunnars, lets say I got an indoor pair, would they work fine outside for like driving?

If you can't get it, there's other options on the page though. Like they can contact your closest eyeglasses place and talk to them, or apparently they can even do it themselves as a last resort.

The normal pair my sister has says not to use it for driving, but it works perfectly fine for me. So, I'm not sure. I use it everywhere and it works great as just normal glasses/using screens.

Do you both use an amber lens?

Yeah, the normal amber. You can also get like darker tints (for outside...I can't imagine using my computer for a long time outside...) or a clear one (which gets rid of a good amount of the help, but for people that need 100% true color is necessary), but I'm pretty happy with the amber one.

I don't really like their look, interesting concept though.

My brother got fake ray bans in costa rica and you can't tell the difference until you get up close.
Anyways the only actual sunglasses I would wear are
Aviator Small Metal RB3044 Sunglasses | Official Ray-Ban Site
I'm not sure why I only want aviators

I just want gunnars for indoor so my eyesight doesn't crumble more than it already is for various legit reasons

    Wow. Amazing review, my friend.

At first, I was in doubt whether I will buy a pair of Gunnars or not. Upon reading this review, I already feel so eager to ask this from someone for Christmas.

One question though, what is the difference between PPK and PARELEX? Since I live in the Philippines, I'm afraid I am going to have to buy it somewhere like Amazon. Sadly, they only have the Espresso color for PPK, which I do not like. As for PARALEX however, they have the onyx color, which I like.

This review of yours is very persuasive, in my opinion. Thank you.

The N Query, PPK, and Parelex are basically the same, except different sizes (Parelex being the smallest, N Query being the biggest, PPK being a medium). So, it really depends on your face shape on which one, same as whenever you normally buy glasses. There's measurements on each one in the orner, that might not help necessarily but can give you an idea of how big each one is.

    Thanks for the info.

I agree, it does not really help with imagining its size. Can you please post a picture or something maybe of yourself wearing the glasses? Please do not think I am showing any sign of disrespect. I just want to see what it looks like on a normal person.

Isn't me, but I found it when I was googling it. Gives you an idea of what they look like in person...not sure what model that is, but I think that's the kind of fit you want prob...that's about what it is for me, at least.

You can also try them on at different retail stores: Gunnar Optiks - Find a Retailer which is probably your best bet. Or go to a glasses store with the measurements and ask them...in general, N Query (think they renamed it Phantom) is for larger face sizes, PPK for more medium, and Paralelex for smaller faces. And Legends for just plain awesome.

    Aww :(

I really couldn't find a picture of anyone wearing a PPK because I am stuck with the decision of either that one or PARALEX.

When I'm late night gaming, my eyes often get tired. Is this eye strain, or just a result of being up for 16 hours? If this reduces the effect of sleepy eyes, these sound amazing. I have to say I thought Gunnars were slightly retarded until I read this all the way through. I'll think about getting a pair of these for my birthday seeing as I'd just get some other stupid gift if I don't ask for anything.

It's hard to tell. I mean like obviously there's a distinction between getting sleepy and having your eyes hurting after playing/watching for a few hours...it's not gonna help you getting sleepy, but strain will definitely be reduced if you're on the computer a lot. It's funny because when it gets really late (like right now, been playing 6 hours practically straight of Assassin's Creed 2), your eyes feel weird because it's like "you should be hurting now but you're not WTF"...lol...

I have yet another set of questions upon extensive surfing of Gunnar Optiks:

Why is the Wi-Five model the one frequently bought? I mean, that is the model I mostly see on Youtube video reviews and unboxing videos. What is so special about them? If you were to pick another pair of Gunnars, which model would you pick? Why?

    Thanks :D

I think the Wi-Five is just very aesthetically appealing...I'd probably get a Wi-Five, too, if I had a second one for some reason. I do like the side pieces for usage with the headset, though...and that limits it down significantly, including the fact it's not on the Wi-Five.

They were definitely worth the hours of practicing and strain on my nerves before every game. My parents were glad when the tournament ended so they could get their son back.
It took a few months but I'm not complaining.
