After getting into the mood over Here, I decided to start this.

I'm guessing that Christianity will win because there is about 1000 Christians for every 1 Satanist. Lets get started with information on both religions.

The core beliefs of Christianity are summarized in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. Jesus died for our sins, was buried, was resurrected, and thereby offers salvation to all who will receive Him in faith. Unique among all other faiths, Christianity is more about a relationship than religious practices. Instead of adhering to a list of “do’s and don’ts,” the goal of a Christian is to cultivate a close walk with God. That relationship is made possible because of the work of Jesus Christ and the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

Church of Satan followers, well most of them, do not believe that a real Satan exists. They do not worship a god or another being. They believe the evolution theory and feel that one creates their own destiny. They do think highly of themselves and that is whom they claim to worship. Most anyone can join the CoS and call themselves satanists. Most are young people who want to shock the world by doing unusual things. Many style themselves after rock stars such as Marilyn Manson. Speaking of rock stars, there are many who are members of the CoS. Satanists are normal people too. They are professional workers as well as plain laborers. They are wealthy and they are poor. There is a myth that goes with the title of satanism. The general public believes that satanists, and witches as well, go around sacrificing animals, babies and young children. While animal and human sacrifice does exist, it is the hard-core, demon-possessed individuals who do this. Most who call themselves satanists are peaceful and would never dream of killing an animal or person.

Now lets face it. Satanism is stereotyped as a bad idea, that Satanists are killers, stealer's, and worship Satan, who we know from the Christian faith as the king of evil.

Christianity is the largest religion on this planet; its no question. But because of this, it is the biggest target for Atheists, making the faith hard some times.

Before we start, let me get this straight. I am not a Christian, nor a Satanist. I am baptized Catholic (Which is Christian) but i am not in touch with my faith. I do not believe in a God. So don't get mad at me for bashing religions.

What are your views on this?

You...can't really compare two completely different things. My views? "Satanism" sounds a whole lot like Hellinism, and I don't see the reason for a 'religion' that isn't. I'm neither atheist, Christian, or 'Satanist'.

There's no way to have 'views' on the difference between these, it's comparing apples and oranges...it's borderline lock quality IMO, but I may be seeing this differently sooooo....
