So, I'm asking for a new gun for Christmas. I'm kind of experienced, i've been playing for about a year and a half now with an old Tippmann gun my brother used to use almost a decade ago. But now I'm looking into getting a new one. I play in the swampy woods on a good course my friends and I made, so it has to be durable and reliable. I also need it to have anti-chop technology so I don't have to stop playing to fit a jam. Oh and one more thing: I would rather have it be mechanical since i'm used to using one like that but if there is a very durable electronic one that doesn't get messed up in a swampy area, then post it. Thanks a lot!
I have a Spider Sonix. I have used it a few times down at the river and has worked very well - it is very durable and works well under harsh conditions. I'd recommend it if you want a reliable gun that works well in the swamp. Also, it is mechanical. I hate electronic hoppers, they are annoying.
What do you mean by grow out? Also, why a shotgun? If you'd want a real gun you're better off getting a rifle or a pistol. >_> Someone comes into your house, you'd want two bullets to kill the robber. Not 8+ bullets and have holes in your floor/wall. -.- Also, I think my bro has an Angel, idk I can't remember. My bro plays Paintball but it was too expensive for him to keep playing.
That might of been the joke Nor was going for.... Of course he might actually be that psychotic. Not. Make sure you get some shooting practice in before you have a game with your friends. Old guns tend to have their own characteristics such as not shooting perfectly straight and you'll need to get used to a new one.
As I said I am fairly experienced in paintball and I'm not getting a real gun at 15 years old and going on a killing spree around my town. That's why there are video games. Anyway, thanks for the suggestions so far. I'm still looking and try to keep the suggestions under $450 because I'm not rich.
How fast can you walk? My friend can't use electric hoppers because he outruns them... Other than that, if you have the money for repair and tuning, the Spyders are pretty good, but require a lot of maintenance...
