it would be better if you explain the description all at once at the top, that way we would know what to expect in your pictures. As far as the map goes, the structures look really cool, but the amount of vehicles needs to be altered. Sandbox alone may be ok with those vehicles, but your map variation seems to open, and the vehicles would destroy everyone. I'm not going to be too hard on it because i havent tested it yet, but i will get back to you.
I noticed how you said this map is suitable for BTB / 16 players. I haven't tried this map out yet but 8v8 on sandbox's main level seems like way too much, especially when you consider that there isn't much cover and it's a fairly open map. Apart from that, the structures are impressive and the design is nice so well done. I would think max 4v4 though? Have you tested it for these gametypes you have mentioned?
Strengths: -Plenty of aesthetically pleasing buildings and cover to create some solid gameplay. -I love bridges that go through the middle of maps because of good BR battles and cover from vehicles driving around. Weaknesses: -Very, a little too similar, to the original Sandbox. Same vehicles, weapons, etc. (*I mean you have new buildings and its more open but the concept is similar.) -Too open for so many vehicles. Even with the laser and rocket launcher, the vehicles seem a little too much. Design: 4/5 Execution: 3.5/5 Creativity: 3.5/5 Gameplay: 3.5/5 Balance: 3/5 Overall: 3.5/5 I definitely like it but take into consideration more of these comments and you can make a better v2.
The vehicles seem overpowering but thats Ok bedause I like vehicles anyway i think you did a good job and the map looks nice.
Thanks for your feedback, I don t think vehicles are overpowering 'cause they are a lots of weapons anti-vehicles, two rocket launcher/grenade launcher, 1 spartan laser, 2 plasma pistols, 2 energy drain and a lots of plasma 'nades. The map seems very open on pics but when u r on it you can see that she's not too open, in my opinion. I tested it in 6vs6, it was god, they weren't a lot of spawns kill problems, but perhaps that a 8vs8 is too much for this sort of map, i don't know, i'll try it and i'll say u what
map looks fun nice forging i like the bridge in the middle,, about the bases though i feel in that one picture taken from above of the base looks very crooked maybe you could straightn that out just for a better look .. ill dl and get back to ya .. does the sniper towers have a grav lift in them and it seems like alots of grenades
