OUTCAST >DOWNLOAD LINK< Story behind the map Outcast is a revamped version of my map Construction. As with all of my maps it is Symmetrical It works with Slayer (Team slayer etc), Oddball, King of the hill, Capture the flag, Assault. I have made a lot of changes to the map including weapon placement, design and overall I have made it better. also I have made the map bigger as well. I have got rid of the old rocket spawn and replaced it with a better suited spawn, in the extension I built. I have also changed the bases as you will see in the pics. the layout looks playable and i like the visual of the sword spawn. the only thing i dislike is that you didnt geomerge against the wall because nades easily get caught in the bottom corner of things placed up against the wall.
I know what you mean but generally people won't aim grenades at the bottom of the outer wall. Map is looking awesome, particularly the energy sword spawn. I wish I had thought of that. No friends on tonite but i'll DL now and get back with a full review. Watch this space.
This map looks well put together. It is refreshing to see a map that may actually play well and appears semiprofessional. I think the only thing that could make this map better is if you geomerge whatever hasn't been. It isn't necessary although it would add just a little more to youre already awesome map Kudos
It looks pretty default. Overall nice crafting with this one, it's got a fair design to it, but more than anything the sword spawn is pretty epic. So nice job with the turret, it's nicely fit in. Overall I'd give this map a 7/10.
the reason there isn't Geo-merging is because honestly I am not very good at Geo-merging and if people want me to include Geo-merging could someone please help do so. Thanks for the replies please keep on giving feedback

umm, there seems to be not very much interlocking in the central base and stuff, it could make things a lot neater. Sword spawn is cool. but in the extension, you could have easily merged the outer walls and double blocks, it would make it neater again, maybe you were getting lazy...? idk other than that the map looks pretty cool! 3/5
Well what I wanted to do is just make the map better overall because in the old version the rocket spawn was a bit too small and it involved teleporters which you could camp behind so I made the extension to solve that probelm plus it made the map feel bigger. And as for the middle base the roof is interlocked the tin cup is interlocked the stone columns are merged aswell I've tried it before using that tutorial but I just fail at it that's why I said if any-one wants to help me geo-merge any thing just ask If you want to help me geo-merge the parts of the map that need geo-merging just send me a message Also if you find any problems with the spawn points,weapons etc. send me a message or post a reply to this thread and explain what the problem is and you can help me sort the problem out if you want
Ah sweet looks good I really like those bases pretty sweet turret placement. I would help you on your merging problem but unfortunately my xbox live is down so I cant Overall I like the bases and sword spawn (sweet by the way) Congrats on making a sweet map
Sweet. Anyways the map is pretty decent. I like the extension, it should add a nice outlet for gameplay. The bases are a bit standard and lack connection to the rest of the map. The forging is decent, smooth enough despite a few bumps here and there. I suggest adding more elevation that can lead to other elevated places in the map, if you know what I mean.

Much better than the last version I agree with everyone else awesome sword spawn Although most of the map is new I think you could connect different parts of the map to other parts if you know what I mean. But overall this is much better than the old version congrats
Right off the bat, I see a major glitch. Brute Shot: Never place a Brute Shot in closed-off areas, unless completely closed off. Someone can BS jump into the space between the wall and slant of the obelisk. This could be an HLG problem.
Looks good, but it looks like it will need some re-touching on it. I suggest adding fusion coils [2] behind the Turret, so it won't be OP. Have them against the wall though, so they could lob a grenade up there to take him out. He has so much cover, it'd only be fair.
