This is by far one of the cooolest maps i have ever seen and is a staple of my map collection. Please keep up the good work and i think this map oughta get a feature.
Definetly an awsome looking map, the holes in the map are easily avoidible any other problems seem null. Idea is original so that's a plus. For some reason I feel as though this map needs a waterfall; how strange. My only problem is that most of the people I can get a game with hate one flag and anything but infection for some reason. It doesn't occur to people that the power combos can be destroyed by the bridges nature, yet rushing in as a team (With vehicles) can easily make it past the bridge with little problem (At least in theory). It might be interesting in seeing a reverse-like form of this map; the bases are switched and so are weapon placements to that you are attacking uphill. Oh, and has anyone noticed that the defenders structures roofs resemble japanese architecture? And for less then odvious reasons, the attackers area reminds of the Afgan mountains. Just wanted to add my 2 cents. Anyways I haven't been able to get a good large enough game on this going so I can't give you a proper rating. I will add you to my friends list (If you'll allow it) so that I just might be able to playtest any maps from you and give my opinions. Crushric Out.
I thought the gameplay on this map was terrible. Sure, it looks good, but that doesn't make up for the gameplay. It was so easy for the defenders to camp their base during one flag, making it impossible to even touch the flag, let alone get it out of their base. That completely ruined the map for me.
This looks brilliant, could I possibly help you test some of the other gametypes some time? (If you're putting them up in the tester's guild)
My team was amazing. And the right amount of people is how many, exactly? I don't see anything about a player count in the original post.
True true so very true... I got a 3v4 game going (I was on the 3 team) the battle was fairly at a draw, my team was to good but the enimies always had numbers on their side-still had alot of fun. If I had to suggest an improvment it would likely be in the favor of adding a foot-bridge, if possible directly under the main bridge or one made from pallets that can be destroyed for a time period of 60 seconds, and doesn't spawn at the start.
hey thanks for the feedback guys, i've actually been working on an updated version addressing issues that people have brought up. It was in an earlier post that headed this page, but some people deleted their posts so it dropped back. Anyways here is what I've been changing in the revision: -Added a footbridge on the pillbox side (which actually dips down below the ground elevation to protect from sniper fire) -Covered all the gaps in the underground tunnels -Repositioned confusing respawn locations -Removed flamethrower, flare, incindary grenades, spike grenades, 1 trip mine, 1 portable shield, made respawn time on snipers, ghost and fuel rod much longer -some minor interlock polishing I haven't posted it yet because I was hoping to get a chance to test it first to see if it helps the balance issues, i've been sidestracked now with MW2 so it might be a week or so until im done with it. As for the current balance of the map, when I tested it, both sides were able to capture the flag so I decided to release the map. With the changes I've been making to the map though, hopefully it will play better.

Hopefully on friday night, my weekends might be slightly booked. And can you talk a bit more about the footbridge-how to get to it, size, security etc...-?
Yeah I have to agree the gameplay for this map was pretty bad, and it's sad to see most of the comments here are about how great the aesthetics are on this map when really it's the gameplay that defines this map. Yeah the map looks pretty cool and it had a great feel to it, but gameplay just sucks. For the offense it was all about rushing with the vehicles and praying that you don't die, while the defense just has to bunker down around the flag and have a decent sniper outside picking apart the offense. To me that doesn't promote great gameplay, and let's not even start on the spawn killing. It does look like you plan on fixing some of the issues here, and when it's ready I'll give your map another whirl. Like I said it looks great, but a lot of work needs to be done gameplay wise if you want "the map to be fun for the 100,000th time" - quote by Bungie
well the v2 isnt really all that drastically different from the last version, but I wanted to test it out first before posting it. I've been consumed with MW2 recently, just got akimbo 1887 shotguns and loving life
This makes me sad now, becuase I usually try to put the maximum number of vehicles a map can support down, so I tried a wraith and the tin cups' gravity completely messed that up. I am actually thinking of making another map like this so I can put a wraith on it.
