THAT WAS EPIC Well worth staying up for, I have to get up and catch a train in 3 hours Congrats to td
That was ****ing incredible. Best finals I have ever seen by a long shot. Yeah Triggers Down! Peg, I dunno where you are, but o/. What a great tourney; can't wait for Orlando.
Triggers Down wins MLG Anaheim! Awesome event everyone. And to those who joined us in the epic Skype chat; good times.
Right here dude, \o indeed, dude, \o indeed . tD epicly rule, I couldn't be happier with the top 3, and I'm so glad it was Pistola who got the kill that won them the event, little dude is so awesome. Sorry I missed you guys in the chat, I've been working my ass off today to finish the coursework I should have had done for friday but had to beg for an extension over. Don't think I missed the games though, wouldn't have missed tonight's proceedings for the world . And Matty, dun be such a sour puss , tD are tearing it up and we finally have a really interesting top 3 dynamic, what more could you want?
A poor placing by Instinct pretty much put me a bad mood for the evening, but the idea of Str8 crying themselves to sleep tonight made me very happy. After TD got ripped off in the Pit TS game by Elamite's magic assassination-proof back, I was glad to see them get beaten on what was statistically their best game. Congrats to TD. I will be looking out for Dynasty in Orlando, and I might actually be attending that event should my workload be light in January.
It's interesting to note that tD have won the last two events by winning a game of TS Amp, they beat Carbon on that same gametype in the Dallas finals. I knew that they were more than capable of really working that map, but after seeing them do it to Carbon for the win, it was great seeing them do the same to Str8 to take the second win, since Str8 are normally so dominant on Amp as you say and yet the final score was one of the more lopsided results in the series.
i'm surprised with Dynasty they came out of nowhere and Carbon only just slipped by them by a kill. I really expected Final Boss and Instinct to place higher than they did. I didnt expect some of the teams like BtH or H&E to place in the top 8
Yeah, when I heard that Carbon weren't just waltzing their way to the LBF I had to sit up and take notice. Raynne was just saying to me that Dynasty are gonna be a real force in H3 and I can't disagree with him, wish I'd seen more of what they did at Anaheim, I'll be keeping a keen eye out at Orlando. I personally expected Instinct to get top 8, but only just, so I'm not too surprised on that front. They're just not top 3 contenders anymore with Str8, tD and Carbon on the scene, and with the new pushes for the higher echelons of the league going on, they're not even top 4 anymore. FB was a shock though, I didn't see them being ousted by the likes of Instinct and H&E. Though with regards to the latter, I'm glad to see them staying consistently descent, much as they are pretty quiet compared to others, I hope Karma shows that there's serious, top level life in him yet.
yeah. Dynasty was a big surprise to me. i didn't expect them to be that good. I was predicting the top 5 to be (1)Td (2) Carbon (3) Instinct (4) Str8 (5) FB. the reason i put str8 in 4th was because of their performance at dallas but they came back very strong into anaheim but they just couldn't top Td. I'm looking for str8 to come to orlando ready to beat Td for the championship, so they better look out. I can also see Dynasty toping Carbon since carbon just barely slipped by
