First, I will say this (and it means eating crow). I played a game of multi-CTF on Avalanche last night, and instead of camping, I rushed the base with everyone else.

And had a lot more fun.

And got MVP (for 2 flag captures).

Ok, so you guys (and girls) were right.

    Now, let's debate this.

Why are people stupid with vehicles? Ok, I can see going solo in most vehicles (Ghost, Chopper, Banshee, Hornet) and even some others where the vehicle power or speed doesn't need a second man (Wraith, Scorpion, Mongoose). But can someone explain to me why people, to this day, still jump into warthogs and prowlers and drive off completely alone?

I mean the odds of getting a splatter are basically nil, and all you end up doing is wasting a resource.

Am I the only one who thinks this?

Its because they use the vehicle and transport. They just want to get to a place quickly and then jump out. Although it is a waste of vehicles, they do it because they believe that they are going somewhere more important.

The game isn't real life. Not every1's aim of the match is to win. Obviously in real life you would have someone in your gunner seat, but its a game. You gotta realize this and move on.

This, and the sheer ignorance or I-don't-give-a-****ery of some people.

Its a game, the point is to have fun... If that means driving lonesome in a hog, so be it. There's nothing you can do to stop it from happening and if you don't like it so much stop playing games.

They just want to get to a place and don't care if someone else does to. I don't really care when people do it with mongosses but I hate it when they do it with warthogs...

At the beginning of the map, it's fairly common for people on large vehicle maps to run off with all the transports alone. Usually, they're the first ones to die. Think of them as little puny herbivore dinosaurs who distract the larger carnivore dinosaurs while the other dinosaurs run off with the eggs to make an omelet or get them from behind or something.

That's not always the case though. Some assholes want to be the first one to get the sniper, or spartan laser, or rockets, and leave their team stuck in the mud. Although, some people are generous enough to let you on their warthog or prowler. Give them a pat on the shoulder.

The only time I ever drive off alone is to, A, pick someone up. Or B, be an asshole. Most people fall under the B catagory.

No reason not to do both! You want to drive a warthog with your buddy in party chat, but your teammates are noobs who don't understand that and keep trying to get in. What do I do? I get out of the driver's seat and pretend to walk away till he gets out of the gunner seat to try and drive. Quickly jump back in driver, and run away from my teammate to pick up my friend. Victory!

Social is for not caring, so I do things like that a lot.

Just play with your friends, that's what I do. I mean you gotta have at least ONE friend on your friends list to just play team doubles with.

Alternatively, they could be looking for people to help them gun, since there are none at base?

If they're running off with them and ditching gunners then yeah, they're noobs, but this isn't always the case.

It's called underdogging. Mostly, these people are in social. If this is all happening in Social, go to Ranked... sorry but that's kind of obvious.

If it isn't... the Matchmaking system hates you, like me (though I'm an underdogger XD)

This stuff happens on other games.

I am the person who likes to do really good, wow people with trick jumps, or annoy them with my antics.
