I was just wondering will bungie fix these forge merging glitches ? if so when ? I hope they never do.
i dont think they will the one thing they wont tollerate is budget glitch if they wanted to remove glitches from forge they would have if anything they would make it easier, but thats unlikely
If Bungie was going to do this they'd have to completely re-engineer forge in Halo Reach(assuming that it has it), and for one, I don't see that happening, and two, they'd add something like a no-clipping option to make it all the easier. The only glitch I can see them patching is the budget glitch, and the no-clip glitch isn't really patch-able, all you're doing is spawning an object from the one you're holding because it has nowhere else to spawn. And geomerging and interlocking aren't exactly glitches at all, they're forging expolits. And that doesn't leave much left to patch now does it?
Halo 3: ODST is out. Reach will be out fairly soon. All efforts being placed on Reach, I doubt that Halo 3 will have ANY change to it anymore. If anything was to be done, it would be done already.
Forge glitching is not actually a glitch, it is caused by pressure of immovable objects and could not be removed from forge, without removing immovable objects in geners. As to budget glitches, those are fixable but have existed since forge was created and bungie obviously will make no attempts to fix it. Remember these are glitches which would require a serious code patch, rather than easter eggs that can easily be removed.
Simply put, no. Doing that would be more effort to fix something that a large community of halo 3 players utilize... Pretty much think of it like if they removed matchmaking... It would be a horrible marketing nightmare.
I seriosly doubt they will because if they wanted to they would have done it by now. Besides the only one they don't really like much is the budget glitch.
HAHAHAHAHAHA! Bungie? Fix glitches? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! No, they won't because they refuse to get off their lazy asses and fix the problems in their old games but are instead making new games far past the point at which they said "We will not be making any more Halo games" (They happened to say this right after they announced Halo 3).
Bungies done with halo 3. Unless some game breaking glitch comes out they aren't doing anything with it short of matchmaking updates. I'm hoping Halo: Reach has more of a level editor, because I have some ideas that even forge isn't capable of making.
I believe it's rather obvious that bungie won't fix glitches, since they haven't fixed any of these glitches in the past. That being said, I fail understand why people keep replying to this thread. His question has been answered, and unless he has anything else to ask regarding this subject, it should be locked instead of constantly bumped to the first page. I don't want to seem full of myself (which happens a lot) but honestly, what's the sense in repeating what everybody before you has mentioned multiple times already.
