I just started making a new map and it requires alot of merging. Right now im using ghost merging and its working pretty good but I worried that sooner or latter Im going to run into the object limit. I would use the other form of merging with the original objects but its really annoying. The question is if I use all the original spawns and weapons will that be enough to hit the budget limit before I hit the object limit?
I'm a little confused as to what your asking, is it whether or not you will hit the budget limit before the object limit if you use OLN objects? If so then I doubt it, whenever I've used the OLN objects I've always hit the object limit before the budget ran out but then again I usually use glitched maps. Tbh, thats irrelevant because if you want to build a big map with loads of objects you're going to need to use the OLN objects, trust me. Its a little extra effort ghost merging OLN objects but its definitely worth it.
original objects can be ghosted in the exact same way with the exception of what angle they come out as when you make them intangible. normally, an item would be the same angle as when you just changed the runtime minimum, but an original item just resets to it's saved position. this means if you just save the original item at the final angle you want, it can be ghosted normally. yes, this is an extra step, but it's worth using unless you are absolutely positive that your map won't use the full limit. personally, I always start with a stacked canvas and atleast use some of the objects on it before I decide to use the rest or not.
This question comes up like every other day. The simple answer is, it matters more if you are going to money glitch the map. If you are not going to money glitch the map, then it doesn't matter as much. Most run out of money before they hit the OLN. If you are going to money glitch the map, then save the default pieces. If you feel that you really need to delete some, then go ahead. The more original pieces you delete, the less you will have overall. You really just have to use some common sense.
OLN spawns and weapons/equipment and possibly the two lights are really all you need. Usually I get right to the budget limit before I hit OLN only using those.
