I have an almost finished giant map in the dunes of sandbox, Desert Ruins, which I have been thinking of using as a basis for another map. This other map would have attackers spawn in the dunes and defenders in a central base. To make this more interesting I would make items spawn after start, shifting from mongooses to scorpions. Could you look at the spawn order and give me feed back on how you think this would play. I was hoping to give covanant defenders begining superiority, and attackers superiority near the end. One flag of one bomb gametypes.
I think bamshees will not work well for defenders as most players will desert there base in search of kills. But the majority of it sems good.
This was really meant as a teamwork thing, ei. playing with a group of people who you know well and work together with. Other wise I think the as you stated the people would desert in search of kills. But assuming everyone works as a team what do you think? Any weapons unbalanced? I am not sure how it would work near the end when heavy vehicles have been killed off, and only the faster respawning ones remain.
It really would depend on the map. Most people don't know spawn times by heart or any of that...I'd just work your weapons to the map, instead of the other way around.
