Halo 3: Co-op World at War: **** Zombies Many Other Games: Campaign Related There is one problem. None of the above support 4 players local. You can get 4 through live and system link, but not on one console. Does anyone know why that is? Is it a tech limitation or a developer limitation?
To be honest I dont know. The PS2 had this feature on neally every game, im not sure about the xbox because I never had one but TBH its a mystery to me why a next-gen console would not have 4 player local splitscreen. My geuss would be console limitations because it is a problem with most games.
Well the 360 has 4 player split screen, although it is somewhat rare now. I guess developers think that no one does split screen these days. They would be wrong of course. Anyways, I have never seen an xbox game with 4 player local co-op modes, except maybe Brute Force.
Thinking about it, it is most likely a push from game developers to get multiplayer gaming totally online & The fact 4 player splitscreen makes you strain your eyes and gives less quality, unless you have a 60" HDTV, or a projector.
