my remake isnt exactly a remake but more revived! i tweaked some things to make the gameplay, in my opinion, more even and balanced. my remake is Gridlock/Warlock. and i have played the remake set in the post and i truly believe mine is just as good if not better! please can i get some comments besides the person who remade Warlock and gave me a bad rating(prob just to promote his no offense i dont think he gave it a shot)! and keep in mind, REVIVED, which means it has the same spirit but is somewhat structurely different. please let me know what u guys think! thanks for ur time which is always appreciated!

ive studied in great detail, the Turf which is on this section and it completely sucks compared to mine! There were missing sections! Not in this one, this is the closest to the original Turf as youll ever get! pleaase let me know what you think, thank u very much

Chill Out

This is iTs NeXn Version of Chill Out but i Have Re-done it to the Exact layout of Halo 1

including:
Weapon Placement
Grenade Placement
Weapon Spawn Time
Grenade Spawn Time

Compared to iTs NeXn's Chill Out This is 100% Closer to the Original then his was

I have a version of Zanzibar on Last Resort down to the last Weapon, grenade, vehicle spawn time and postion

Zanzibar CTF + Assault Vehicle Layout

with both of those maps its the ultimate Zanzibar Map layout every

I have spent days apon weeks timing each weapon, grenade, fusion coil and vehicle to get it right its spot on

Sidewinder

This is the Remake of Halo 1 Sidewinder made on avalanche

with the exact weapon, grenade, vehicle and gametype location and spawn time

i have spent the week getting it down to a T to get the exact version of Sidewinder for Halo 3

a lot of these maps are the bomb but some of them are terrible. great thread though

 

hey guys, i love remakes so i came here to download a couple and some of them are pretty bad (no offence) there not interlocked so there bumpy as hell and impossible to land nades perfectly on the floor without them catching something. i love forge, i think i forge more than i play actual Halo so ive gotten pretty decent at it.
right now im working on a Midship remake because i loved Midship in Halo 2 and i still cant find a decent remake of it. im about 40% done and ive spent about 6 hours on it, i hope i have enough pieces to finish it off.
i used the interlocking glitch and the geo glitch to make this map, here are some screens of what ive got so far

Making the wall circular was the hardest part here :S i had to geo glitch the fence box into the roof because it was in the way... but its still kept perfectly streight with the other 2.




The whole map is circular but i wont be able to make an exact replica of midship (nobody could) due to the limitations of all the parts and the amount of objects you have.


so tell me guys what do you think? remember this is only 40% done.

I'm sorry to say that I scraped the colossus remake and have no plans to continue it any time soon. If you could please remove me from the list I would appreciate it.

 

wow theres alot more remakes than i thought there was! People must really miss the old maps!
