You snap the third clip into your battle rifle and throw the strap over your shoulder. You can feel your heartbeat resonating through the gun and into your hands. It feels like your entire body is moving in coordination with your heartbeat. This mission is critical to your country's victory in the war that has been heartlessly taking the lives of thousands over the past five years. Win this battle, and victory in the war is just one step further. There can be no failure. I almost like this BETTER than Epsilon, just the 1v1 style seems to appeal more to the actual map geometry. i know that Epsilon was made before ghost merging, so my question is, did you ghost merge for this map? But that is almost irrelevant, because the map is so well put together. I also love your weapon choice, the BR Sniper Mauler map layout just works so well.
This caught me because of the name for some reason. Iota. Well it's not the ninth letter of the greek alphabet, so it must mean a small amount... Nice small map. It looks about the right size for a 1v1. I could see it as a 2v2 map as well. The amount of cover is perfect for 1v1 since it is open and allows for more BR to the death fights and harder to run away from a fight. I like the area in the last picture titled "Bridge" (doesn't look like any bridge I've ever seen...) the way the double box is merged with the bridge floor doesn't look very nice, though I'm sure it is fairly smooth. Nice geomerges (I guess no clip merges technically) around the active camouflage. One thing I would have done different, and you may want to consider it for v2, is to make all the boxes slightly merged into the ground. You did so most places beside over by the active camouflage. Doing so makes the map look more crisp.
Says the guy quoting himself in his own signature. Ontopic: This map is an absolute blast to play. It's great to warm up on and just a fantastic map over all. There aren't any places that dominate over the rest of the map, promoting a lot of movement, and the snipers, mauler, and camo work fantastically well despite the size. I'll definitely be playing on this a lot to warm up on or just to pass the time with a friend.
super dupy sloppy, super duper sloppy, super duper sloppy. i thought this was a name change from the sandbox map we'd played earlier. ah well, you deliver as always, keep it up.
Very nice looking map. Im really liking some of the structure designs of this map and can really see my self playing this. I always love a good 1v1 map so I doubt I will dislike this.
I definetely enjoyed the gameplay on this map (as well as my 1 kill victory=]). The lines of site really affect the map's gameplay it make the map feel bigger than it actually is.
You crazy Forger, you! I wonder how I never noticed that you had been making this... Anyway, This thing looks very nice. You kept the absolute best parts of Epsilon and proceeded to create a kick-ass 1v1 with it. Now, any matches I play on this will be terrible, seeing as my aim went down the hatch since I had been offline for a month. Regardless, I very much like the changes and adaptations that you made, and I LOVE what you did with those bridges at the garage door
Great job, looks clean and looks like it plays good. The only thing I think is wrong for 1v1 in this is that there are two snipers. But still looks pretty good with the design and structures. Good job 8/10
really nice forging not a fan of enclosed areas but you seem to have but alot of effort into this little area which i like it might be better without the mauler because maulers are soo annoying and with this close quarters gameplay it will get on my nerves ha ha if i play it i'll use just BR's but good job it seems really well thought through
great to see people are still working with foundry. love the asthetics and style. not to sure of 2 snipers and camo in a small map but bases look awsome along with mauler spawn. fatgezzer
Played a 1v1 match here yesterday... Well, in terms of design, the map is made pretty well. Although I was impressed with your structural work, there were some things that came to my concern. First off, I feel that the camo should have been placed in a more secluded place for the sake of an increase of the game's excitement seeing that the other player won't know, sometimes, if another player has camo or not which gives him a sense of intensity. Also, there have been a number of mishaps with the spawns. In one situation, I was located near camo just above the stairs. To my surprise, my opponent spawned on bridges, which gave me an advantage to shoot him earlier. Nicely done map, but there are still a few things you need to improve on.
