I got inspired by a picture I say, found a stock, and attempted.
Its a decent outcome for being my 3rd LA piece :b

Im trying to figure out how i could make the splats more realistic, any suggestions?

Reworking on the shadows of the paint would probably help.

See in the chin splatters, how the shadow is along the top of the splatter? Well, if you look at the girl's nose, you can tell that the light source is in front of the girl.

Also, try less tiny splats around a regular splat, and group droplets together.

there are verticle lines running through the whole pic, besides the paint
add lines to paint, but be sure to be faint
you have added some i think but its not trhe same

and the paint looks too clean
