Uplift Reserve

    Uplift Reserve

    I found an effect on photobucket that will give your photo a green like border around structures, much like the VISR mode in ODST.
    Effect: Blueprint
    Make sure to fade it a lot.​

    This map is for Rifte Gifle's upcoming Asset map pack.​


    Asset is a 1 sided VIP gametype, were you must protect the VIP otherwise, the round will end. The VIP is supposed to be Virgil, the engineer from the campaign in ODST. When you are in the proximity of the VIP, you gain 1x Overshield, vehicle use, and radar. Hold out for three minutes while protecting virgil, and get him into the transport hornet to get the the territory at the end of the round, if your hornet is destroyed, you have no chance of scoring, but you can keep the opposing team from scoring by keeping virgil safe.​

    Attackers start with a variety of Covenant weapons, including vehicles that usualy spawn into the game. Sometimes, you will spawn in a certain rank box, like Brute stalker or chieftan, and you will recieve the equipment and weapons in order to get that rank, and will lose the ability to pick up weapons and equipment 10 seconds into the game.​

    this looks really good. and the gameplay sounds really fun. ill b looking for this map to come out so i can play!

    Thanks, make sure to ask Rifte Gifle for details if you want to get more info on the Asset gametype, by far its my new favorite custom gametype.

    .... I was going to give a preview of all the maps in one thread later today. :(

    Can you at least delete what you copied/pasted form the guide I wrote please?
    Map's looking great so far though. Oh, and can you please get rid of the video of gameplay on your fileshare? I've already finished the video that will be uploaded onto youtube.

    I have deleted all traces. And I am so sorry that I may have leaked any important info. Though you have had lots of DL's on your Protocol map, and people may know how the game works, but I am exceedingly sorry.

    Looks good rofl. How much longer do you think it will take to finish? I wish I could do a forge through of whats done now but my xbox is broken :(

    Im on vacation right now, LoL, im using the clubhouses computer at where im staying :p. Anyways, It'll probably take about 8-10 more hours of forging into it. (probably 3 days.) and a few more days to do testing.

    So yeah, if I put my mind to it it'll probably be released inna boutta week.

    Sure thing dude.

    If you want to get a feel of how this might play, download "Protocol", I based this map off of a mix of "Protocol" and the bulding of "Uplift Natural Reserve" in the ODST campaign and firefight mode.

    It looks like you've got a lot of work.. The map seems to take up a lot of items to do what you've done and from the looks of it. I like the idea of the gametype but like I said you've got a lot of expansion to do.

    As in, make the holdout base bigger?
    Yeah, Ill probably do that to the upper area above the main base. So far Im thinking the map is turning out pretty well.

    I think you should add in a few more structures. Maybe nothing big, just some rocks here or there, but apart from that it's looking good so far. Gameplay should be good, from what I can see.

    wow im so happy that so many people are enjoying the gametype, i didnt think that it would catch on like this, and so many maps to go with it, well then agian the gametype wouldnt b anything without these awsome maps and this looks like its going to be another great one so thanks!

    Yeah, Im gonna make some boulder like cover for the attackers, so theyre not all out in the open. But yeah. I was working on Uplift today and I added in some railings, extended the upper walkway, and put an H on the helipad where the hornet spawns, which is, might I say say, ****ING EPIC.

    So yeah, It'll be released within a week if i spend some more time on it, thanks for the comments guys.
