I like them both, but I believe the bottom one has too much topaz used and it's overall too dark. It needs some contrasting colors. The top one has great depth and great colors, good work on that one.
^yeah, the top is much better, great improvements. Keep this up, and then try adding effects to add flow.
It is pretty dark in the second one and I would like to see different backrounds in 1 and 2, it just adds variety.
