This always ticked me off. I mean, sure people can show off their great Forging skills to EVERYONE, but then half the maps on Forgehub should be on there! The only time there should be user created maps is in Infection, Swat, and MLG, and even Swat and MLG are just Weapon changes. The point is, playing the same maps over and over again makes us have a familiarity with them, but when we play user created maps, the only way to know where everything is is to play the over and over and over again, which is hard to do. Again, I'm not being harsh and saying the maps are bad, as they are great, but they shouldn't be around. On Bungie Day it was appropriate, but here there's no point.
If you care so much about memorizing maps, forge through it once and then keep playing. User created maps are great, and the ones in Bungie day for the most part have been easy enough to learn. Any map that is too confusing wouldn't be put in, plain and simple.
That is true, if its too complex to figure out the first game they don't put it in MM. I personally think its a great thing that they let us submit them for MM.
You've obviously never heard of Atlas. Atlas is a group on Bungie.net that allows Bungie.net members to submit their maps (along with pictures, various gameplay videos, etc.) to have a chance to go into matchmaking. A couple widely know maps from FH are in the 7th on the 7 playlist at the moment. Such as, Ravinia by GD27 Sh0ckWav3, and Bridgeo's by Joe is Outside. You wanna see FH maps? Go play 7th on the 7.
