Borderlands Gameplay VideosCome one, come all! A YouTube user named McGuirkSquad has been lucky enough to recieve a copy of Borderlands early, and boy has he been increasing the hype for it! He has been generous enough to supply us hardcore fans with the first couple minutes of gameplay, random vehicle driving footage, and more! Remember kids, Borderlands releases in exactly two days on the 20th of October! So be prepared at the front door of your nearest Gamestop, or wherever you buy your games from, with a big wad of money ($60). Borderlands is an M-Rated title, so of course minors will be required a parent/guardian to purchase Borderlands. Just a little warning for the fans that are dedicated to storylines, these videos might just ruin the game for you. So watch them at your own risk! Also, regarding gameplay footage of the vehicles. Some of you might be sad to see the turret on the vehicle is firing at enemy vehicles automaticaly. But the good thing about this is that the player does have the option to use the turret manualy. Alright, MW 2 or this? Seriously I thought I decided to get MW 2 over this a while ago, but seeing this makes me really want to get it!!!
I dont think the videos do much for this game, the shooting seems hard with the pistol and all of the guns just seem to be rocket launchers. There also seems to be way too many popups in game, with every grenade having a light on it and the guy in the video making the mini map pop up every 2 seconds. I also dont care for the graphics, i know they were going for a cartoon look but im going to stick with MW2.
definitely picking this up tomorrow. pretty much the perfect game for me, from what ive seen and read im gonna love everything about it. it'll keep me occupied until MW2, then i'll probably come back to it after a few weeks kickin some anti american ass.
The game looks fun. It's art style looks like a mix between Crackdown and Gears of War. I can't say that I'll buy it though since both Modern Warfare 2 and Left 4 Dead 2 are coming out soon. Maybe a "month later" rent from my local Blockbuster or a bargain price buy at GameStop.
