Hmm. Very strange. I guess you just fired the exact moment after the laser guy did, and got credit for the kill.
This has happened to my friend quite a few times as well. I'll be lasering a wraith whilst he's shooting it with a warthog turret and sometimes he gets some of the "laser kills" despite using a turret, whilst I end up getting assists...
Same thing happened to me. I Have it in my fileshare. I got a Double Lazer kill with a warthog turret.
For the first part I was thinking "did the sniper rifle just shoot a laser and I missed it?", then I saw the other guy. Guess you just stole credit for it because of some glitch in the game, lol I'd give the laser guy crap about it.
