Hi. I just registered. I've heard about this place from my friend who is a Halo freak and he showed me some forge hub maps in some custom games and I'm pretty impressed so far. Penance especially. Anyway, I was actually referred here by someone from gamefaqs while looking for a decent forger to help me edit a level. Not sure if this is the right thread to ask this, but here is my ad, so to speak: i got a pretty crappy level i made with my friend on sandbox. actually he made most of it, his first and only attempt. i just placed a whole buncha random weapons on it. while its nothing to great for competitive play, i think it has potential if someone put some love and creativity into it. maybe. i just dont have all the time, or skill for that matter, that it would take to make it decent. check it out on my file share. gt: PMURDA 187 its called Drunk Treehouse. any takers? So, basically, I'm hoping someone can take this sack of lemons from me and help make it into lemonade. If not, that's cool, I still look forward to getting reading tips, finding maps, and just consuming more Halo. Great site, awesome maps, amazing game. At the very least I'll be able to learn how to take some pretty snazzy screenshots  ha ha monitor smileys. :haha: sweet
Why hello there. Welcome to FH. I recommend you read Tay rules and I am sure somebody around here will assist you with your map. I recommend makng a map preview of your map in the Halo Forge Discussion forum. Welcome and happy posting!
I think the best way to help you is to have you help yourself. Check the Forging 101 forum and look at our guides. Check out some Featured maps and see how their done and why things are where they are. Ask questions (Forge Discussion for that). You put a little effort into it, and you'll be good at Forging, there's no "Forge gene" that makes some better than others, it's all knowledge, patience, and so on. Good luck!
If you fail miserably, (not saying you will, just an if) you can hang around and test maps and review them. You know, help other people by constructively criticizing.
