MLG STRONGHOLD IS A MLG VARIANT OF CITADEL THAT IVE CREATED.ITS A GREAT MAP FOR SMALL PARTYS LIKE 1V1 2V2 AND 3V3 BUT CAN ALSO PLAY COMFORTABLE WITH 4V4.THIS MAP SUPPORTS TEAM SLAYER,TEAM FLAG AND TEAM BALL GREAT! TEAM FLAG IS LIKE NOTHING YOUV EXPERIENCED BEFORE ON THIS MAP.ITS RIDICULOUSLY FUN AND FAST PACED,KEEPING YOU GRINDING YOUR TEETH THE ENTIRE GAME!IVE PUT ALOT OF WORK INTO THIS MAP AND TESTED IT FOR ABOUT A MONTH NOW GETTING IDEAS AND SUGGESTIONS FROM EVER1 IVE PLAYED WITH WHICH REALY CONTRIBUTED TO THE GREATNESS OF THIS MAP.I JUST WANT TO GIVE CREDIT TO TANKS FOR GIVING ME THE IDEA OF THE RAMPS ALTHOUGH THEY DO LOOK DIFFERENT.ALSO I THOUGHT BLOCKING OF THE SHOTGUN HALL WAS A GOOD IDEA AS WELL AND ALSO USED THAT IDEA ON MY MAP. THIS IS WHERE THE TEAMS START(NOTICE THE FANCY WALL IN THE BACK) THIS IS THE SIDE MIDDLE ROOMS(THE SWORD WINDOW IS JUST FOR LOOKS ALSO THE TELE IS JUST FOR SHOW 2 ITS ACTUALLY A GERNADE SPAWN)EACH OF THESE ROOMS ARE ACCESIBLE 4 WAYS 2 NORMAL HALL 1 RAMP 1 TACTICAL JUMP. Man this looks good, I like that youve blocked off certain rooms to camp in with the oddball, it really made gameplay better. THe sword is a very interesting aesthetic, but I think you could've done without the teles. I remember testing this and like it much better than the original citadel, because of the interesting jumps and pathways. The only thing im worried about is that youre spawns will not work their best. But anyways its a good map.
hmm youve added more pics i see i like the look of it i think there might be too much cover because citadel is an enclosed map enough I'd try making it open and by adding those walkways and jump you helped to that problem but you added a lot of little cover which may be too much :\ haven't played it yet so i can't really say
I am one of his testers for this map and can vouch for its fast-paced and tactical gameplay. (I'm the BR guy in that one action shot...) There is a lot of cover, most of which is very useful for surviving one-sided firefights. However, a well placed grenade or nice flank will knockout any would-be camper. Odball FFA is great, while team is slightly harder, but is by no means broken. The spawns don't work for FFA though....
