Well, I've been hard at work on my entry into the "Hub of the Dead" contest, and I've recently kinda found a lack of will power to continue, mostly due to my procrastinating. I will get back on the Horse and finish it, but I just wanted to show the map, see if anyone is interested in the map itself or testing, when the time comes. So without any further ado, I give you so far the map named after a Black Dahlia Murder album:

    Overview.

Under the bridge, the Zombies will spawn there most likely.

This is what I have so far, I plan on making a pair of gas stations and urban-ing up the map, with lots of tight corners so your best bet will be to stay on the high ground (i.e. the center structure). I'm not sure about that oversield, either. I may replace it with a pair of Camos on a long respawn in each gas station.

Fun fact: Everything has been Ghost merged on this map (excluding the turret and Overshield).

Looks pretty decent, nice forging and all. I'm curious what the finished product will be.

Looks awesome.. but this last note makes me very sad. Ever since I found out about ghost merging, I just can't stop forging. Ghost merging to me is my freedom from bracing to interlock, bracing to geomerging, new rounds for interlocking, and new rounds for geomerging. Tsk tsk to you *waves a finger*.

Regardless though, it looks like it has potential. The only thing I think it is lacking is fighting room. Something you may want to consider is 1 or 2 cross bridges, leading to a smaller (or larger) building. Crossbridges to another buildings could be used as a fallback, and supports the general idea of any zombie game.

I'm actually finishing up a Foundation remake that I gave up on twice. The first time I failed miserably.. messed up the rectangle around the map. The second time, I ran into the item barrier due to wasteful useage of objects. This third time, I have completed the rectangle successfully.. I've already completed the four rooms. All that's left to do is wall off the map, and add the center area.

Pictures ruin the fun of it, so you'll have to wait a week or so before you can get a hold of this masterful remake.
