I have been searching ages for this, and I hope you guys can help me out. I once saw a youtube video of sometone forging awesome maps. But the thing that intrigued me was that he spawned them, and they merged and floated automatically. Can you guys help me out? Is there some way to do this? Or is that a Forge-mod? Thanks!
Been there, done that. The one I'm talking about is that.. For instance, imagine a Foundry-session. He spawned a few Fencewalls, and placed them in a line, merging and floating instantly, out of nowhere. =/
Great guess. Not to mension if the piece is already floating you would only be 100% accurate placing it in the direction it is spawned. No clipping (I assume) is better for accuracy.
That's actually not true. There's a button combo that will float items, but I don't recall it offhand. It's not really widely known, but it's probably what he used.
REMEMBER! ;P That would help me alot. I remember a guy called Dthen doing that and I was like wtf, he kept spawning tunnels in the air and they were all merged. I were like wtf.
If you're thinking of the video I'm thinking of, everyone above me is wrong. The way he made the video I'm thinking of was he had a map finished. Then, he took the map apart by grabbing and then deleting object after object. Then, when he went to make the video, he had that footage, but he played it backwards so it looks like he was putting the map together. I'll try to find the video and post it here. If anyone saw Mini Waz's "exit video", it was the section for Highway AE.
Possible. That'd suck though.. It looked very real.. =/ On a side note, do you happen to play WoW on a private server? A.K.A. Deathcard? I could've made a dozen of fire-backs to this. xD Anyhow,
Umm... If i did a google search, what would I put in the search bar? Thats pretty freakin cool, and it would save sooooooo much time. And im uber lazy, so that makes my life easier.
