Endure v2 Conquest Map

    Additional Information: I have currently tested this map with Conquest V4, credit to the owner of that. I also used a custom variant of Conquest with damage at 100% and custom power up traits as follows; Damage Resistance: 110% Shield Leech: 50% Speed: 110% Forced Colour: Gold.
    Either of the Gametypes work with this map, I just need 7 other people to join in using this map and so they can hopefully write a sucessful review of this map.

    Looks pretty good so far. I like the curved tunnels you made with the geo'd arches.

    Two questions though:

    1. Is the entire map flat excluding the bases? This isn't a bad thing, I'm just getting that from the pictures.

    2. How do the two sets of plasmas spawning in each base play? Usually, Conquest maps feature spike grenades and only a few of them at that.

    Let me know if you need another player for testing. I'm on right now, so invite me whenever.

    EDIT: I do like how you elevated the entrances to the bases to reduce spawn killing. Nice design. :)

    Thanks, appreciate the input. Yes the level is flat excluding the bases.. and so far the plasma nades havnt had that much of an impact. Unless directly sticking foes, they dont tend to do much under the current damage settings.

    I'll help you test in a little bit. I've got to go do something right now, but I'll be back on in 30-45 min and if you're still on, I'll be free to test.

    By the way, you're signature is too large. The maximum dimensions are 500 px by 200 px. Fix it before you receive an infraction! :)

    lol fixed it.. nah im off to bed.. its early morning here lol. Ill send you an invite sometime when im next gonna be playing.. I really need some guys who play conquest frequently to comment on it though.. cause otherwise im not sure if im hitting the right buttons with it :S

    DON'T WORRY! CONQUEST LOVER IS HERE!

    This looks . . . questionable. Four plasma nades? Two is even a lot in 90% of conquest maps. Is the custom powerup completely in the middle so if you spawn in the same spot on each side you will make it there at the same time? This looks like it is flawed, but I won't know for sure untill I look at it. I really like the arches though.

    I was questioning having the custom power up in it at all.. in CQST V4 it doesnt really seem to help anyone advance.. so i might be removing that altogether.. As for the plasma nades.. im not sure.. theyre on 60s respawn times.. and they dont seem to do that much in the fights.. as i mentioned earlier.. but your welcome to help test it with me :)

    Ah so this is the map you contacted me about..
    I would be happy to go through with you this week and fix up anything "questionable." The CPU should either be removed like you were thinking, or you should place one symmetrically on each side of the map. Its never a good idea to place any weapons or grenades directly in the middle territory if you can avoid it. But I won't go into detail here. Invite me as soon as you would like to fix this up! Looks great so far!

    Thanks gunner, yeah.. I'm gonna have a stab at a few fixes later and then i'll probably invite you into the fixed version to see how it runs. Hopefully i'll have enough people online to test it too :)

    Thanks guys, just finished a few minor adjustments. v3 will be in fileshare shortly.

    Basically, each base now only has 2 plasma nades. One on each step. CPU has now been removed, and replaced by a large column to allow people to charge through and not be immediately shot at the choke point. But it provides very little cover. Plasma Rifles are wall mounted, so they are in easy view.
