Spartan Grounds Created by Plasma Blades Supported Gametypes: Infection 4-16 Players Map Description Well, this is a pretty simple map. There are two alpha zombie sniper towers in opposite corners of the crypt. There is symmetrical cover in the middle. I know that this map isn't amazing, but it's helped my clan's sniping and teamwork abilities. The forging isn't even close to my best, but it works out nonetheless. I'll explain more in the pictures. The humans spawn here, above the crypt. There is a single bubble shield in here that one random human will pick up. Mancannons spawn after a certain amount of time to prevent camping. Once they drop down, there are teleporters that will send them to one of 8 random places in the crypt. From here they must acquire weapons to kill some zombies with. This is the center area where the beam rifle spawns. It never respawns but is great for taking out alpha zombies. Also in the middle is the custom power-up. When you pick up the beam rifle you are given a way-point for ten seconds. Your shields have a 50% recharge rate, and a 10% leech. There is also a 75%damage modifier as well as 90% speed and 150% gravity. This shows a basic spawn of the other weapons available to humans. Behind the barricade is a magnum with one extra clip and a 30-second respawn rate. In the corner there is either a carbine or a BR with a 45 second respawn and no extra clips. In between the two obelisks a shotgun will spawn after 60 seconds with 1 extra clip. Much of this cover also does not spawn at the start, as well as some weapons. This is a view from inside one of the alpha zombie spawns. The incindiery grenade never respawns, so use it wisely. The frag grenade respawns every 45 seconds, and is useful to remove campers. I'm not exactly sure what the object of both the humans and the zombies. Can you please explain in more depth and I'd be happy to give you better criticism.
Well, the alpha zombies main goal is to kill the humans. Doing so creates zombies that are faster and not confined to the box, but weaker. The humans are trying to kill the alpha zombies to get rid of a ranged enemy. Since the sniper only spawns in the alpha zombie box, once the zombie is killed, they are now slow-moving, tough enemies. The humans may also try to hide for the four minutes, but with grenades and two snipers, that is a challenging task. It's hard to take down the starting zombies but it can be done with teamwork and focused fire. The alpha zombies also need teamwork. They only deliver 90 percent of the normal damage and the humans have 200 percent damage resistance. With focused fire a human can be taken down in what seems like one shot. I didn't really design this map in hopes of it being the next great infection game, and it's not great, but not terrible either. It turns out that the idea to this game was better then the end result.
