A drawing I did using my Wacom Intuos3 Tablet around a month ago but never got round to posting here. I like to call it the Pimp Cat.
The drawing itself was done using two reference images in Photoshop, with the colouring done a day or two later.
The colouring is sloppy and 'over the lines' on purpose, I like that style of colouring and shading, so I was trying it out.

I'm not going to be making any changes, but suggestions are always welcome since I can apply them to my next pieces of work.

    He's a Cat, he doesn't need a neck.

But half of him is a person so he needs at least half a neck. Seriously though, the cat head looks a bit small to me.

    Fair enough.
I personally think the head is perfectly sized. At the angle, how exactly do you know he doesn't have a neck anyway?
It's at a perspective where the Cat is somewhat over the person viewing and is leaning toward them, as shown by the larger hand.

I love how both of you decide to comment on something in your opinion is missing, when it's art and anyone's opinion. I understand this a CnC, and you're entitled to the latter, but at least comment on the work he has put into the actual piece.

I for one love the picture. Regardless of a neck, it shows how much detail you put into it judging from the buttons. Great job man.

    THANK YOU!
I wanted to mention that as the artist, I can do the piece in any way I please, and there's no 'right' way to do it, but really didn't think I needed to state the obvious.

Thanks for the comments guys, I did the whole thing over the course of a week, and left it at that since it was just a practice for something I'm working on in my College Photography Course.
