Hi, I'm currently building a map , but I can't figure out how I should make the offensive and deffensive cover. The map is pretty small compared to most, maybe about half of Foundry. The map canvas is Avalanche. I currently have a few wall corners but the map evelvates in some areas.
The map is going to for team doubles or 1v1. Can anyone please help me?

I'm just about to get on my xbox, I think I could help more if I was there in person. There really is no such thing as offensive and defensive cover for competitive maps. There is just geometry which determines maps, pathflow, and lines of sight (the big one).

    Whats your Gt?

Is this the kind of thing you mean by Offensive and Defensive cover?

Offensive cover should be something you can hide behind but climb up defense should be above so that you have to get behind before you can get to a to top of. Kind of... Take highgrounds and look at that. Defense gets high grounds attackers get cover? Tree and rock for attackers and a house for defenders. but you have to make it equal out in a sense. I wish I could describe better, but maybe you can get a taste from this.

I think small maps are suposed to have more neutral cover rather than attackers and defenders. Objectives don't work very well with small parties, for example 1 flag on blackout is a horrible doubles gametype cause it has no flow. though a game like king of the hill or oddball would work a little bit better.

Really hard to describe through words.

Ya. that's what i mean, but with the limted items I have left it's kinda hard. I've used up all double boxes and double box open. I'll be on later today if any of you wish to see the map.
