Air Hockey vS Created by DieHardAssassin Why vS? Version Sandbox, I mean use your imagination. This map incorporates a working ball retrieval system, as well as a new scoring system. The retrieval system itself was the most difficult part of this map, it took me so long to figure out a way to make this work, it was insane... Everyone starts out with a Brute Shot and a Rocket Launcher, try to keep a constant volley of fire on the golf ball. Every 30 seconds, another golf ball will spawn. If you can't shoot the ball, move up along the sides of the box to shoot. The ball retrieval system resets every 10 seconds, try not to score as it resets (You will know by the explosion noises). The retrieval system will send the ball under the map, and launch it back up into the game. When you score, just go through the teleporters to the side of your box, attempt to jump off the man cannon to score extra points. The more teammates that jump, the more points. This looks fun and original! But I have an idea. I never liked the fact that in these games, you must go through a tele-porter to score and stuff. You executed it well, don't get me wrong, but I know an easier way. Here it is. Ok, so here how it works. The peeps spawn as norma, but in a narrower room, and the floor is made of blocked tele-porters. when you score, grav lifts push the ball into a fusion coil or something, and that unblocks the tele-porters, and the teammates go through. The hill is on the tele-porter exit, so they get a few seconds to score before grav lifts push them into a kill-ball or something. Any questions, ASK!
That limits each team to a very small box, and if you are already standing on the teleporters, when they are unblocked, you don't go through, unless you jump or something. Trust me, I've thought of every way this could work, and this is the absolute best.
so you can just jump through the teleporters withuot even scoring? that sounds kind of gay no offense, but i guess you could just base it on trust.

No, the whole point of scoring, is to block the teleporter in the goal, so that you CAN go through the teleporters and score points. If you go through without blocking the goal teleporter, you will die.
While Air Hockey v3 needed little improvement, this version is a definite hit for bigger parties that need their random Minigame fill. With the ball retrieval system, as well as the new scoring system, the flow of the game is never interrupted like the Foundry versions which, really impresses me that you managed to turn a great game, into an even better one.
Looks great i'll download! this looks much better than the foundry one because it has the angle "bunker slit" so that you can see below easier.
Awesome map, but you need to fix the extra points for jumping. People who don't read this won't know that, nevertheless even know to go through the teleporters. Easy fixes, just place the hill higher so they don't spend as much time and put teleporters everywhere so when they score they automatically teleport.
Its not an auto-Teleport, the ball blocks the reciever node so you can walk through the sender node, there is no teleporting involved. This is the absolute best way I could make this map. If you think of trying to make it work other ways, you run into problems with no solutions.
Map Looks Pretty cool. I think the scoring system is going to really depend on the honor system which often doesnt work but w.e. Ill give it a DL

The only thing that i noticed is that sometimes the ball doesn't land in the hole and then when you go in the tele you insta die... maybe there is a more efficient way of doing that...? or a more efficient way of making sure the ball goes in the hole every time?
You really have to use timing when you score, because every 10 seconds, you will hear some fusion coils explode, this is the retrieval system reseting itself, and you cant walk through the teleporter during this time. wait a second or two after, then score.
