Its not bad when you play with people you know. Its fun to watch them scramble and run away from the Minotaur. I'm glad orange invited me to play this, because I had a blast!
Even amidst the hours and hours of Blackout I played yesterday we found time for a solid hour of This map and variant. Absolutely brilliant. Announcer: LAST MAN STANDING! Lord Kai Gon (Last Man Standing): Who's the minotaur? ZiP SHTiCK: Dustin is. Lord Kai Gon: Where is he? ZiP SHTiCK & Rogue Mentat: Run, dude! Lord Kai Gon: Huh? OH SH**! Announcer: Round Over. Seriously awesome.
I don't agree with the sentiment here that this map is just a maze rehash. Admittedly, I don't download a whole lot of maps, but I try to make sure to at least grap the ones that are featured. So I appreciate the Forge Hub operators featuring the cream of the crop in this genre. This one provided the hugest laughs and scares during my custom game sessions last night with my friends, so nice work. The Last Man Standing period is always intense!
heh, i played it with 16 people, 5 rounds... id be lying if i said it wasnt insane ^^" great map, great gametype and more importantly: bloody great idea.
proir to my previous comment, i tried FFA SWAT on this map. anyone who likes tense SWAT matches, yet aint fond of Infection, should give it a go. just remember to adjust the spawn points lol ^^
Great map at first i didn't believe this was worthy to be recognized but i got a 14 person game going and it turned out great nice job 5/5
It's awesome. My friends played it over and over again. It is funny to see my friend escaping from the Minotaur when he doesn't know he can infect through the wall. EDIT: Sorry for double posting, I thought my comment wasn't posted cause my computer usually lags out and only when I posted the second comment did my first appear.
I have noticed that my friends have come up with some Callouts for this. "Dark Corridor" "Light Corridor" "Human Spawn" The dead people helps us tell where the Zombie is. It is an awesome map. Tip: You can infect through the wall. Sounds like a decent concept for a map...The idea that players will drop down into the labyrinth actually gave me my own idea for solving a problem with one of my own maze maps, which I will likely post here at some point in the near future.
Actually got to play this today for the first time.. it was alot of fun. I like that the minotaur is pretty slow so you can still escape from him sometimes, and the disorientation at the opening of the rounds is genius. Well done sarge
