Version 1 is he best by far, the number of poppies add something to it that just looks really good. I say you take the first version, tone down the black frame.
Those are poppies and I think they represent bombs, because planes don't usually drop parachutes. EDIT: Oops, only read the first page
i think v1 is the best the only thing i dont like is the flower peddle the way you tried to make it look like it was in motion looks kinda wierd. also the black around the outside looks great im my opinion but it's too much like a circle
