Vend-a Turret Vend-a-Turret is a nice little switch that enables you to buy a turret for the price of a sticky grenade. There's really nothing to explain so here are the screenshots. Aim there... Throw it... Grav lift sends it up... Hits the shield door... Lands on fusion coil... Blows them up and detaches the turret... It looks like it would fail pretty easily, depending on how the player throws the sticky in the hole.
Surprisingly it doesnt and the hole has a very small range in which the odds are the player failing are quite slim
I like the idea a lot, and it looks like it won't fail because it doesn't take much to blow up a fusion coil with a sticky, but it would be awesome if it was much more compact so that it doesn't take up a lot of the map.
from the looks of it, this is a bit of a Rube Goldberg machine, and while i have nothing against that, it just doesn't seem practical(correct me if I'm wrong). also, while i have no doubt that this could work 100% of the time in this map, i can definitely see it failing if there was a map build around it because of extraneous factors, which goes back to simpler is better. I love the concept, and would love to see a V2.
Can't you just through it at the turret from the beggining? Or am I seeing it wrong? Other then that It looks like a great map but it is easy to compact.

Simple way (possibly) Hi, im new to forge hub, and dont have my own xbox live yet, but I use my brothers xbox occasionally. I love map making, so forgehub rocks! Anyhow, couldnt you just: When you throw the grenade into the window, it gets pushed upwards (by the shields) straight into a slanted Gun turret. Therefore, it lands on, or next to the gun turret, blowing it up. Because its slanted towards the window, it flies through the window as it explodes, into view, and it lands next to you. Advantages: 1) Less objects used. 2) A LOT more compact (uses the size of a double-box [virtically] from the window. 3) Quicker explosion = faster gun generation. 4) Saves time when building.
