    Zstrike13 Presents:
In association with SniperSR25 and some other less important people...

Zstrike13's Forgerific Map Pack vol. 2

Hello there. After about a 2 months on ForgeHub, I've made six FORGERIFIC maps. Now is the time i feel for them to come together as one pack. This pack includes 5 of those six maps. (One just plain sucked and the pics were lost) These include:
    180: Battleground ZERO
    Base Raiders
    Overpass
    X-Men: Halonaut
    Ancient Coliseum

Yes that's right, now you can have all five of these maps for the price of one thread!!!

    Now, onto the maps...

Note that this thread contains only maps 3-5.

    #3- Overpass

    Download Map Here:Overpass
    Download Gametype Here: Dark Days

    Backround Info:
Alright... this is my 5th map to date and my first collaboration. My friend Nick, (SniperSR25) came up with the original idea for a bridges map. Overpass (Bridge Battle, as he calls it) is the result. The name Overpass is derived from my idea of it being like a highway bridge with a multitude of levels.

We ran into a series of disputes when it came to gametype and such. He decided for it to be an Infection game (although it would work fine with Slayer). The biggest argument was over weapon layout. Sniper makes tons of infection games and theyre great and i love playing them with him and friends, but theyre too unbalanced. AKA- he LOVES armories. Unfortunately, I hate them and protested when he began laying weapon after weapon in one spot. I rushed over and deleted them as he made them lol. Eventually, i luckily convinced him to not place an armory on this map and just spread out the weapons. However, the compromise we made also gave him full control over basic weapon choice. He chose most power weapons but i made sure he didnt put too many on.... with that said, let me take this time to write...

    Weapons on Map:
*** As i said, there are a multidtude of power weapons, so don't get too surprised***
***Luckily, I convinced him not to place Rockets, so that's one power weapon not here :]***
    Humans:
-Shottys: 2 placed on map (also starting weapons)
    -Magnums: Secondary Starting weapons
    -Battle Rifles: 2
    Sniper Rifles: 2
    Spartan Laser: 1
    Flamethrower: 1
    Energy Sword: 1
    Needlers: 2
    Active Camo: 2
    Mongeese: 4
    Zombies:
    Energy Swords: Starting Weapons

Alright, so it isnt a ton of weapons, but its not an armory yet theyre mostly power weapons... but still, on to the actual map

    Description:
After an outbreak of a deadly disease, sunday drivers started to become more and more vicious until eventually, they couldn't be controlled any longer. A team of Elite Special Ops drivers were sent in to handle the problem. Unfortunately, it may already be too late...

The map is split into three layers of the bridge.

The Basement: The basement is basically one long hallway with almost nothing except for two stairways up to the Underpass and a lone energy sword dangling from the ceiling. As a zombie, watch out for snipers in corners...

The Underpass: The underpass is the mid-section of the bridge where a lot of the chaos happens as teams spawns and rush each other from each side. Noticeable features: there are small rooms every few feet down this long hall perfect for hiding in. Unforunately, a few of these have no ceiling and you may be ambushed from above, so be careful. Also, shottys and battle rifles spawn in some of these rooms and the flamethrower spawns in the center. There are also grav lifts (2 on each side) that can be used to access the next level, the Overpass. One last feature of the underpass are the sniper halls. They are one sided so you can only enter from one side and dead end is at the other. Plenty of ceiling cover here, however, there are also plenty of holes in the ceiling to be shot at from (I was once sniped crouching in an alcove of this hallway from above). At the start of these halls are also where the snipers spawn and inside them are the needlers.

The Overpass: Finally, the overpass... the place that the map derives it's name from... Here you will find the Spartan Laser in the center, active camos on the sides and a small sniping spot up in the crane. The overpass is very open and there is nowhere to hide once up here (although the active camos help lol). There are plenty of drop spots where you can drop into the underpass and ambush enemies. Use these with caution... This is also the only level of the map that allows you to drop off the bridge and onto the ground below. There are mancannons to take you back and mongeese (2 on each side) to drive around with. However, there are no entrances into the back hallways of foundry and no way to drive around the bridge to the otherside so it isn't incredibly reccomended to go down here, as you will probably be sniped anyway. but...

    #2- X-Men: Halonaut

    Download Map: X-Men: Halonaut
    Download Gametypes:
    -CTF: CTCure
    -Assault: Arm the Cure
    -Infection: Infect the Cure

    Story:

X-Men III: The Last Stand, for those who didn't see it: The Humans have created a cure for mutants. The Brotherhood, led by Magneto, storms across the Golden Gate Bridge to reach Alcatraz Island, where the Cure is located. To get there, Magneto lifted the bridge into the air and dropped it on the island. Now, as they storm across the sand, the X-Men arrive! And so the epic battle begins...

    Description:

After looking at some classes maps, I decided I'd give it a shot and make one. This is by far my most complex map to date, yet it isn't that complicated if you know what to do. With that all said, I present; HALONAUT.

    Gametypes and Strategy:
This is a classes map, however, you have no say in your Hero/Villain. For every spawn you are assigned someone randomly.

2-10 players. 10 strongly reccomended for best gameplay.

The objective is, as Magneto and the Brotherhood, you must storm the tower and either CTF, plant the bomb or infect the X-Men.

CTF: Alright, the flag spawns way up in the tower in the secluded floating room. To get there you must scale the tower. First start off by crouch jumping into the small grav-lift rooms at the bottom. The trick here is to then go into the back corner and then run and crouch jump to land up above in the Barricade Hall. Not much to see or do here, although Storm or Cyclops can get some nice snipes and lasers here. Next take the teleporter up a floor where you are now in the open. Don't fall. Run to the rock-climbing barrier wall and be carefall as you jump. Watch your step. Once you make it to the top barrier, run and crouch jump up into the middle room. Here you have some options. You can A- fall into the room and use the turrets for defensive purposes, or B- continue. Supposing you choose B, you must now jump into the mancannons above you for a sometimes easy, sometimes frustrating elevator ride to the top. Permitting you make it and don't shoot off the tower, you are now at the final step :] YAY! take a grav lift from the weapon holder and throw it in front of you, preferably near the edge. now take a new grav lift (instant respawn) and jump into the first one, propelling you onto the penultimate floor. Here, throw the final grav lift at the very edge on the side near the flag room. Run and jump to soar through the air and into the room. Congratz!!! You made it! Now you'll just have to make it back to the bridge...

To do this, take the teleporter in the flag room to return to the ground below. There are two ways to do this next part. The easiest is to have your teammates help you run/drive to the bridge, where you can find a grav lift that'll lift you to the bridge, or try the hard way and go to the teleporter perched high above blue base. There you must skillfully scale the small tower to reach the porter that takes you to the top of the bridge. SCORE!!!

Assault is basically the same, except lucky you, you don't have to make the return trip. Infection is well, infection... Also note that you can easily play team slayer on this map. I don't have the gametype yet though, but it's coming...

    Description Continued...

Alright, the map is simple. There is a bridge on one side and a tower on the other. Each team spawns and takes there players and begins. There is one special player though. On the Brotherhood team, the Juggernaut (Halonaut) spawns in the blue base, away from the team, and is trapped there by a grav lift and crate. After 30 seconds a grav hammer spawns and he also has spike grenades and a custom powerup that makes him near invincible. The brotherhood team must get to blue base and grab an overshield in front of the crate which will allow it to be pushed away and the Juggernaut can escape. However, if you are skilled with the Grav Hammer, it is possible to destroy the grav lift and, using the powerup, quickly run out the door before it instantly respawns. NOTE: You need the Juggernaut. He will assist you greatly as he is near invincible, or at least, moreso than everyone else. That said, it's time to tell you about:

    The Players:

    X-Men:

Wolverine: The vicious leader is here!

He comes equipped with his claws, (Energy Swords), Spike Grenade throwing knives, assault rifles and an overshield for extra backup. Also, for some extra fun, use his trip mine!

Cyclops: Getting Bored and want to get laser-y (?) Cyclops is just that. With his Laserbeam eyes (Spartan Laser and Sentinel Beams) He is extremely powerful. Also has plasma grenades and deployable cover.

Storm: The fierce weather controller comes too! She has her lightning quick Sniper and thunderous SMGs, along with frags and a flare.

Rogue: She'll drain your shields with her Power Drainer and will take you down with Shottys and BR's, along with some Frags...

Beast: The Blue Behemoth is playable. His powerful Grav Hammer and Assault Rifles will tear you to shreds along with plasma grenades and a bubble shield for defense.

    The Brotherhood:

Magneto: The Magnetic Leader is here and he has Shottys and MAGnums (lol, pun intended) He also carries plasma nades and a flare.

Pyro: He's exploding into the game, literally!

Pyro has flame grenades, a sentinel beam, BR's and of course, a Flamthrower.

Sabertooth: Wolverines archenemy is here to take down his foe. He comes with his Energy Swords, a regenerator and frags, along with assault rifles.

Quill: If you saw the movie, you know who this is (kills nurse... porcipine... no?) His spikes make him pretty edgy. He has dual spikers and needlers for that purpose. Also, he has a radar jammer to throw off opponents.

Juggernaut: The two ton monstrosity has rampaged into Halo, and nothing is gonna stop him. He has, as said, a grav hammer, spike nades and the ultimate custom powerup, giving him inc. speed, inc gravity and 4x Overshield as well as 1000x damage resistance. Hes a wrecking ball.

    Note:

Although I'm guessing right now you're like, OMG WTF??? HES STACKED!!! Well yea, but not incredibly. All players start with 2x overshields, 500x resistance and 150x damage. Flag and bomb carriers have 3x overshields, 1000x resistance and inc. speed and jumping. (making them slightly better). The result: Huge explosive and long battles that can last up to or sometimes more than a minute. It can get hectic. Of course, the best way to handle the Juggernaut is to assassinate, if you can...

    Note 2:

Final Note before Pics: The Juggernaut has one life. After one spawn, no one can respawn in the room. Of course, you can run in through the grav lift or take the overshield and enter...

    #1- Ancient Coliseum:

    Download Map here: Coliseum
    Download Gametype here: Lions/Gladiators

    NOTICE:
Alright, after some forging I've fixed the camping problem so now players spawning in the fence box (now a double box) get pushed by a grav lift into the teleporter, eliminating camping.

Take a trip back through time to Ancient Rome. Crowds flock each day to the great coliseum to spectate the exciting battles taking place. Oh wait, that's not you, you're the other person in that coliseum... the Gladiator. You're stuck in this pit of despair as vicious lions are tossed at you. You try to fight but are pinned to the ground, head ripped off. The crowd cheers.

Except this time, you have a chance. The Emperor, who personally releases the lions, has challenged you and your fellow gladiators to one final duel... can you survive?

    Map Description:

Coliseum is a Zombie gametype where you are a gladiator inside the great coliseum. The entire coliseum is at your mercy as you wreak havok upon it as either a gladiator or a lion (zombie). Scale its walls and reach the top to find snipers strewn across the outer rim. Destroy forklifts and trucks and barbeque the lions with the flmaethrower hidden in the coliseum. you have though only seconds into the game before the Emperor (Alpha Zombie) breaks the gates to the lions den. If you're a true gladiator, test your skills and venture into the lions den, but beware the lions... They're hungry.

Yet there is a way to quickly deal with the lions, hanging above the arena are fusion coils on pallets. Take out the pallets and make sure a lion is beneath and watch him roast. Just make sure you don't get caught too.

Oh yes, one other thing... the zombies are temporarily invisible...

    Suggested Gametypes:
Lions/Gladiatrs is an infection gametype located above...

    Weapons on Map:
    Zombies:
    -Energy Swords
    Humans:
    -Shotguns: starting
    -Sniper Rifles: 8
    -Flamethrower: 1
-Machine Gun Turrets: 2 (lodged into boxes on Top floor)
