Midship King + Fiesta King I've been waiting for Bungie to release a remake of Midship since Halo 3 came out, and now we finally have it. -This map is specially made for my Fiesta King gametype. I got rid of all the Hill Markers except for the one in the middle, I got rid of the sword weapon holder at the top and i got rid of the bubble shield. This was to make the map look better, and in the case of the bubble shield, so it would play like the original Midship. -Also there is a download link below for a KOTH gametype I've dubbed Fiesta King. Basically it's one big Clusterf*&$ of a team game with one hill in the middle of the map. You spawn with a random primary weapon and a shotgun for the secondary. There are no weapons on the map, but there are grenades. There are two rounds to 100, whoever gets the most points at the end wins. There is no time limit. The more players, the better! -P.S. I've played this gametype A LOT in Halo 2, so I know it is fun. You can use a variation of KOTH where there are no teams and it works well too, but you should lower the score limit. Not only do you not have any photos posted in here, you don't have a download link either. And just by reading the post, not really that exciting or difficult to remake on my own. Sorry, not really worth one of my harddrive slots.
your bagging on him because you screwed up? great marketing. anyway, he's right. this is about as usful as tiny map, where it would take me about 3 minuets to make, and i wouldn't play it once i did. I really just don't see the point. Also, i really don't see gamplay being fun, nor anyone using there primary if you start with a shotgun when the hill is that small. maybe that's just me though.
I'm telling you guys you should try it. I didn't come up with the gametype anyways, I just wanted to put the word out to the community. Btw I know anyone with a brain could do this in five seconds, like me. Please try out the map and gametype first before you post anything, I just put it up here for fun.
Haha aww c'mon you didnt like tiny map? I thought it was well put together... Anywho I think it might have been a good idea to post this in the gametype section in the map database. Im glad you acknowledge that the map isnt very different but Im sure youll notice most ppl wont see that.
Oh, it seems I am somewhat of a noob on these forums still, I didn't even think of checking the map database for gametypes. I wasn't really sure where to put it other than here. Edit: I now have my gametype up in the map database as well.
