While playing around tonight, I discovered with my team a major helpful tip to all of you doing the Deja Vu achievement, and one that will make it WAY more fun. Its living proof that Bungie does love you. SPOILERS BELOW SPOILERS BELOW SPOILERS BELOW SPOILERS BELOW SPOILERS BELOW SPOILERS BELOW SPOILERS BELOW SPOILERS BELOW SPOILERS BELOW SPOILERS BELOW SPOILERS BELOW SPOILERS BELOW One Coastal Highway, once you get to the actual highway, take your squad down the FIRST off ramp that you normally wouldnt go down. Waiting for you will be 2 mongeese [1 driver / 1 passenger each], and 4 Rocket Launchers each loaded with ONE THOUSAND Rockets. You heard it hear first. One thousand. Enjoy.
holy.... (blamin) shiznit! That just made the level 10x easier and 10x more rememberable. Its a shame though... because I am such a bad person that I am not going to tell any of my friends (other than my team for this vidmaster)
Ya found it when I was going for the vidmaster but I didn't get it my friend rage quit at the end >.<
LMFAO. 998 clips. So much ****ing win. Can you do the stunts that you can with the Brute Shot? Or will you die?
Actually even with a combine total of about 4000 rockets, the level was still extremely hard. It took my friends and i an hour and a half to get this achievement . It was extremmely hard. So make sure you have a good amount of time to spend when you go to get it.
Thanks silence, but unfortunately I do not have Live, and even if I did, something's wrong with my campaign and it's annoying as hell. I got on my Xbox yesterday after school, and my campaign was started back on the first level. There was no way whatsoever for me to get back onto the streets of New Mombassa as the Rookie other than by playing a mission I'd already played through. And even after I did that, the Supintendant didn't recognize me with the progress I had previously, and just shut me out from the areas I could go to before! D:
Did you go through the credits? Oh yeah, this thing is actually easy. Just that you have to protect Dare at the same time as preventing you and your team from dying which makes it so much a pain in the ass. Plus you got fricken banshees and ghosts which makes it so annoying. I probably would of gotten the achievement by now if it wasn't for those banshees that just had to be in that game.
Yeah, I discovered the rocket launcher thing with this video: YouTube - Halo 3 ODST Vidmaster Deja Vu Tutorial (HD)
Hey guys, I'm getting Live this weekend! So if anybody wants to hook up for the Deja Vu achievement, I'm all for it. But can somebody please tell me where to find Data Hive? Because I'm starting to think it should be labeled on my map...
Oh man. I did Deja Vu yesterday, got the 1000 rocket Rocket Launcher, got the mongooses, got rage. It was ****ing hard. I suggest sniping with the rocket launchers. Wait for Dare to get close to the door and wait underground in the tunnels. The part that gave me the most trouble is defiantly the stretch after you first encounter the ghosts. Banshees, ghosts, and Fuel Rod Guns made us lose around an hour, plus we began spawn kill betraying and got us sent back a few checkpoints.
Dude thank you so much for this, i tried doing it and we were at the very end and we lagged out. Im not going to do that achievement for a while im so pissed. Oh well, thats life
