Random name as I can't think of one, and yes thats a cheesy pun. This Map is inspired by Guardian, lockout, cold storage and even boarding action. There's two main paths from each side to the other "the leap" and a long way in the back[Which at the moment isn't that aesthetically appealing] there is also a obvious shortcut in the middle. I mainly just want to see if anyone has any good ideas for weapons currently each side has A few br's, a carbine[Each cave], a mauler and a sniper[each aesthetic piece] Rockets are center-ish on the long path. As you can see my head is kinda stuck in the MLG weapons zone >_>. [The tube's can only be walked on they cannot be entered]
I guess thats kinda cool, but there isnt enough Z movement. Its all flat, and on one level. You could probably say that I have yet to make a two level map, but wait about a week and I can prove that I am not a hypocrite.
It actually is more of a two level[Maybe 1 1/2] map with jumps and shortcuts everywhere, but with limited enclosed space, kind of like taking just the exterior aspects of maps like guardian.
looks like it would be a pain in the ass to play if theres more than 3-4 people in the room but its definatly one of the more interesting maps ive seen =], i just want to go on it to find a hiding spot or somewhere really high up just to piss people off lol.
Most of the higher places in the those screen shots are not easily accessible. : p The same cannot be said of the current screen shots higher places. I re-worked the longer path to be more symmetrical and gave that entire path a small fork in the road/alternate one giving you rockets or camo. Closer view of cameo. Ignore the teleporter It's just a forge shortcut to the objects already on the map.
